Myself I don't think the chart shows anything other than @ 37p investors have reached an appropriate risk-reward level. Things could go much higher and quickly, or alternatively, languish if there is no news in a couple of months at around 30p. This stock will come good in the end as a medium tier miner will find CNR compelling because millions of oz in the ground are a rarity these days.

This is a real problem here now. It's hard to see much potential upside until the political situation becomes clear.
GL all those still in.

From Mark to his email circulation list:

"Please see attached the Q1 2018 unaudited financial accounts and a summary contained in and RNS.

Condor owns a 100% of a high grade gold deposit, with a 2.4M oz gold resource, including a reserve, at a very advance stage of permitting, close to production within a major Gold District containing 5M oz gold plus. There is a scarcity of such assets.

The main focus in Q1 has been permitting.

26 February 2018, a 130 page amendment to its Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (“ESIA”) that, significantly, does not require the resettlement of approximately 330 houses occupied by 1,000 people was submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources in Nicaragua. The ESIA is part of an Environmental Permit (“Environmental Permit” or “EP”) application to permit and construct a processing plant with capacity to process up to 2,800 tonnes per day of mineral ore. This amendment has been positively received by the Government.

13 March 2018 the “Inter-Institutional Committee” comprising of ten technicians from three Ministries: the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Energy and Mines and the Ministry of Forestry conducted a final site visit inspection of the re-designed mine site infrastructure, which avoids resettlement.

2 May 2018, the Chairman and senior management of the Company held a meeting with the Inter-Institutional Committee at the offices of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources to discuss additional information required by the Inter-Institutional Committee following their site visit inspection on March 13th, 2018. The Company intends to submit the technical information by May 31st, 2018.”

So despite the political unrest, I had a meeting 2 weeks ago with 2 Ministries to discuss the findings from their site inspection. We will submit the technical information by 31st May 2018. Assuming the technical information is okay and there are no further questions, the Project will be signed off as technically okay and goes to the Minister and President for approval. A date for a Public Consultation should be set and permits granted a couple of weeks later.

The risk is that the political situation delays the permitting process. A Dialogue table for mediation and finding a way forward is set for tomorrow. I don’t have a crystal ball, the situation is very tense. Talks could breakdown or go smoothly and a settlement reached.

The geologists are excited about the high grade rock chips and new discoveries. We continue to believe the current 2.4M oz gold resource can be doubled and La India Project hosts a 5M oz Gold District.

"Detailed geological mapping and vein characterisation continued along several veins, which included the collection of over 150 rock chip samples. On the America Vein Set, 24 rock chip samples returned gold values greater than 5.0g/t including 24.6g/t and 32.0g/t gold on the Guapinol vein and 27.2g/t gold on the Alfonso Vega vein. On a new prospect, the El Derrumbado prospect, an area of multiple east-west striking veins, immediately north of the Tatascame vein, six samples returning gold greater than 5 g/t, including a 24.3 g/t gold rock chip"

For any who wanted a crystal clear update from the company via a formal RNS, here it is:

"On the May 2nd, 2018, the Chairman and senior management of the Company held a meeting with the Inter-Institutional Committee at the offices of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources to discuss additional information required by the Inter-Institutional Committee following their site visit inspection on March 13th, 2018. RNS unaudited results this morning. MC restates his confidence that the Main Permits are close and expects to update us on this in the near future. The Condor will soar very soon if he is right.

Many thanks for that, Sir A', I am confident that everything will proceed once
normality has returned. From here CNR might well give a superior return in my opinion. I have a full weighting in the stock.

Sent to Mark's circulation list:

Please see link below to Commodity TV interview at the European Gold Forum in Zurich.

Condor Gold:

In summary:

Government originally indicated resettlement was a good idea due 42% poverty in former mining town of La India as new village would have given new hoes, drinking water and sewage
Amendment Permit application to avoid resettlement removes the red flag
Wages in a commercial mine in Nicaragua are US$700 per month vs nearer US$100 locally
Will heavily invest in the existing village US$1M, focus on providing drinking water
Local Mayor and Alcaldia (Counsel) will receive US$1.2M revenues per annum and Central Government US$2.4M revenues per annum (combined 3% of gold sales(
Social budget US$25k per month
Meeting with Minister and President’s son
British Ambassador meeting the Minister
360 five gallon water containers distributed per week to local community
Final site inspection completed

Well it looked like the protests were subsiding but now the genie seems well and truly out of the bottle. If they gain momentum and the existing Gov doesn't back down then the recent bloodshed may just be the tip of the iceberg.

Needs clarity and ideally Ortega to step-down but these dictators don't tend to do what's best for the country.

Well hopefully the worst of it is over. The thing is the country needs foreign direct investment to boost the economy and exploiting their own natural resources in a sustainable way could provide much needed income and jobs.
