Product Announcement

New VPX(TM) processor board

Concurrent Technologies Plc (AIM: CNC), a world leading specialist in the design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer boards for critical applications, is pleased to announce one of the world's first VPX(TM) processor boards based on the new Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor.

As a result of our work with our design partner, Intel Corporation, Concurrent Technologies Plc launches a new VR E7x/msd processor board. This new board is designed around the Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor E-2176M (formerly known as Coffee Lake-H) which Intel announced earlier today.

The new board performs a system management roll and allows for improved processing capability, faster connectivity and enhanced digital graphics output.

This board is currently aimed at the industrial market, however ruggedized versions for the defence industry are being developed.

Glen Fawcett, CEO, Concurrent Technologies Plc, commented:

"From our inception we have always worked closely with Intel and this is another great example of our continued collaboration for mutual benefit. Our VPX product announcement further demonstrates that we are able to launch cutting edge products as early as possible in the silicon life-cycle, to meet our customer requirements."
