PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)--Elior a annoncé lundi l'acquisition de Bateman Community Living, une filiale du groupe Compass, afin de renforcer la position du groupe de restauration collective aux Etats-Unis dans le domaine de l'alimentation des seniors.
Fondée il y a plus de 30 ans, Bateman Community Living est spécialisée dans la livraison de repas aux seniors, à domicile ou dans des lieux de vie, a indiqué Elior dans un communiqué.
Bateman, qui a réalisé un chiffre d'affaires d'environ 70 millions de dollars en 2017, compte 550 collaborateurs et 200 clients.
"Bateman poursuivra son activité aux côtés de la marque Valley Services d'Elior North America, qui est aujourd'hui le premier fournisseur de repas à domicile aux Etats-Unis", a précisé Elior.
