The timing on this offer is perfect for me. So I am not complaining about the price. I would like to thank Andy Blundell and his team for their vision and hard work in reinventing and turning Communisis around from a position in late 2009 where few fund managers thought it even had a future. That feat should not be forgotten or underestimated imo.Good luck to shareholders when reinvesting your gains.Best RegardsJT

Not going to complain in these markets at a 39% jump. Always nice to have a bid at a decent premium, even if the share price has come off lately.

Wouldn't call it a great deal as share price has been higher - but beggars can't be choosers and market hasn't been too good for awhile.
CMS is in a great position growing Internationally so should do well. :))

Personally I think they're worth a fair bit more, this often happens, although not complaining too much. Good small Companies get bid for when market is depressed - maybe a chance of a counter bid? ;))

Short term this is a great boost for the portfolio (though I hardly think that 50p as a price would have persisted). But that is now two of my largest holdings off the market in the last couple of months, I am going to have to do some serious work to replace them... Not that I am complaining mind. Much.

Any good ideas out there? Or should I just buy a yacht? (Well perhaps a tenth of a small, old, slightly damaged yacht...)

Wasn't expecting that !, not the most generous offer I've seen but a predator has pounced taking advantage of the depressed share price basicly offering the years high price of 71p

Not just CMS. I suspect foreign investment is pulling out of the UK with Brexit worries, which can pull all sorts of companies down if investment trusts and Oiecs are being sold down.

It's gone quiet here while the share price has been dropping. The uncertainty of what might be some kind of profits warning ahead is likely causing the fall and lack of interest. It didn't seem that long ago that trading was brisk and growing with the new Inland Revenue contracts.

CMS reached a 12 month low today with the shareprice dropping below 50p !

4 fairly hefty trades reported after the bell today, totalling just over 270k @ around 51.2 and hopefully bolstering support at this 50p level.

I thought the idea was to get margins over 10%. They are nowhere near this level at the moment, they seem to have dropped even.

Can't see any reason ES but then this has turned out to be a truly frustrating investment. This was one of my top two investments but I'm glad that I halved it at just over 60p last December after they closed down Psona with the subsequent failure of the company to even comment upon it.

The shareprice is down almost 30% this year and frankly I have only maintained my residual holding because, at an average cost in the low 30's, it is now yielding me over 8%. As a growth share it is a complete non-starter with the current shareprice only 25% above the last placing at 40p five and a half years ago in March 2013. I imagine that Otus Captal Managment, who acquired 12.7m shares back in May at circa 64p, are fairly unimpressed too.

Now then, more weakness? Any special reason?

We are expecting I suppose something like 6p earnings for the full year, and with good long term visibility of contracts... yet dipping back down to 50p again, with a projected yield back over 5.5%...

Radnor Capital Partners has produced a positive note on Communisis pointing out that GDPR was not the disaster that many had predicted. Forecast for 2019 is PBT £20.3m, EPS 7.7, PER 6.8 and yield a more than useful 5.6. athelneytrust.co.uk

Recent retrace has been on light summer volumes. This morning's 25k trade looks like a buy and will hopefully kick off a next leg up.
