I think we both know they are not Waldof.
Must have been some very interesting negotiation going on prior to finalising the deal.

Well these guys www.bluecrestcapital.com are £1,880,000 down on the deal in three weeks.
Must be turkeys right?

that's enough for me, I'm out.
I've held for about 18 months now, lost a load of cash.
the management are a disgrace. It would appear that Sheeneqa was right, they are running this company as a personal piggy bank, and I'm "happy" to be out with a 70% loss....
Oink oink......... porkers.

The format of the RNS was a bit scrambled

phillis - I was being a bit lose with my figures; the actual sum is £800K:

"After deduction of non-cash items for amortisation of intangible assets of £5.9 million and costs associated with the issue of share options of £8.2 million and a cash charge relating to sign-on bonus payments to the trading team of £0.8 million, there was a loss for the period of £12.7 million (2007: profit £3.5 million)."

Errr... try reading the RNS 'ericeb206'.

And who exactly paid 9p a share three weeks ago, and what is the background of the new CEO.
Might get a decent mark down.

No mention of trading in the third quarter is worrying.

Amazing results indeed.
PB where is the ref to the latest £1m sign on?

If your new CEO pulls this dreadful company out of its self-inflicted mire (CMM has been raped and pillage by its management and traders - note the latest million pound sign-on payment, this for a business that is barely solvent)) then he'll deserve one helluva fat medal.

Good luck - I think he'll need it.

All depends on H2 really. If "returning to normal level of trading" at the end of the statement is true, then profits should be much higher IMO, leading to sharply better result than £2m they have produced in H1 IMO. Lets assume say £5-6m total in year? WIth net cash and more if continued profits, then valuation at £30m market cap is IMO not unreasonable but it is not going North until visibility on much increased profits IMO!

The losses etc etc, is nothing you would not expect from a new management team and CEO who will "kitchen sink" on their first announcement so anything in the future looks even more rosey IMO, and that IMO could include billing etc so I am continuing to watch at these levels. Why:

1 new management, kitchen sink H1 IMO and still profitable
2 Q3 statement looks OK, could be much much better but there you go, but suggests IMO profits should show marked improvement H2
3 net cash and continued profits should only boost this
4 new large shareholder who can put business through CMM IMO

Lets see. No catalyst to buy more lets say. WOuld be useful if they could get a broker note out there for us all to see!!

Results next Tuesday? Lots of questions hopefully answered, but most important ones for me are i) cash position at moment and ii) outlook.

Then we can pass judgement on value.

Results out within a fortnight.

I'd be surprised if they were any good, and I'd be surprised if the dividend is maintained.

That said, they cant be that bad, or else Bluecrest wouldnt have bought those shares. I'm sure it will be a kitchen sink job, leaving room for plenty of upside potential in the future.

Happy to hold at what is(was) about twice the cash level.
