10/9/2008 13:43 | when are next set of results? | qs9
09/9/2008 21:20 | Err see you dyor QS9, not! Half the board of CMM are the CVS mob as you so nicely put it. | sheeneqa
09/9/2008 19:22 | CVS mob looks like one not to follow IMO, but CMM different story. Interims were out in September last year, hopefully all this decent newsflow is leading up to decent interims and statement of strategy with new investor on board etc. THEN we may see share price moving onwards and upwards. As someone says above, hopefully even more commodity business can now be put through CMM.... Fingers Xd. | qs9
09/9/2008 13:31 | I hope so Waldof, though in current markets it will need to be soon and fairly spectacular. Cash burn is now something I am on a mission to understand in minute detail and will be asking questions at the next opportunity. | the drewster
09/9/2008 12:23 | But people make new friends Drew ! (and thats where we are at) | waldof
09/9/2008 12:03 | For CVS to benefit, the price doesn't just need to go above 15p, as they only benefit between 15p and 45p if there are shares sold. If the price reaches 45p, then CVS get a further 6p per share as part of the deal. Looks like a lot of synergy for the new major shareholder, but Mr R will be running out of friends if he doesn't sort out some of the other holdings. | the drewster
09/9/2008 11:56 | I am sure the new major shareholder will have done extensive due diligence, as well as putting their commodity business through CMM from now on. | barnes wallace
09/9/2008 11:25 | Fantastic timing by the CVS team, could have sold those for 50 mill a while back! If I was a corvus holder I would be delighted with their leaders.... Must be a few more on the board getting ejected here, might be a punt if they offload a few of the porkers ;-) Nag,dyor homework ect | sheeneqa
09/9/2008 08:20 | Exactly right. Furthermore, by offering to give back some profits if and when CMM rise to 15p or beyond, I suspect they fully recognise the value here. | barnes wallace
08/9/2008 21:24 | shouldn't think there are any worries about the forthcoming results as these fellows will have no doubt done some intensive dd before buying such a decent lump.....esp from mr regan!! | bubface
08/9/2008 20:49 | Judging by my recent performance on tipping the top of ASOS at £3.16, I'd like to carry that record on and say that the top is in on CMM. | corbys finest
08/9/2008 20:44 | Yep, topping up in the morning too! | matt c
08/9/2008 19:47 | Aye. Looks good Wallace. | corbys finest
08/9/2008 19:35 | fascinating thanks for link BW....looks like blue crest is 25% owned by MAN group, the company rumoured to be taking CMM over wasn't it a while back this year? Fascinating, I am in for more, looks very interesting... | qs9
08/9/2008 16:59 | "Corvus said it is its strategy to dispose of its investments to generate the risk capital resources to target larger scale assets or companies than it has previously considered. The proceeds of the sale will also be used for working capital." They sold at 9p. | dasv
08/9/2008 16:46 | Hope so. Don't pretend to understand the wheeler dealing going on here!!! | buzzzzzzzz
08/9/2008 16:36 | ummmm..i'm not so sure about that Buzzzzzzzzz, read the RNS before last i.e last weeks. Surely you do not think it coincidence that the new appointment and this sale come so close together. I think there will be plenty happening here now - as there will be over there. We will see.............. | waldof
08/9/2008 16:23 | Why is Regan selling at this level. Must need the cash for a deal for CVS. No chance of much happening here for a while now. | buzzzzzzzz
08/9/2008 16:21 | interesting deal, i doubt that BlueCrest will be a bidder but at least it gets the share price moving in the right direction. | a2584728
08/9/2008 16:20 | 76 million at 9p !!!!!!!! | buzzzzzzzz
08/9/2008 14:52 | I can tell you that filtering a certain individual has improved my enjoyment of this thread no end. | dasv
08/9/2008 13:42 | Ignoring the obviously bitter ex-employees on here, the price action has been encouraging recently, and the huge recent volume upsurge suggests to me that the overhang that has decimated the share price here in recent months has finally been cleared. | barnes wallace
06/9/2008 11:32 | I'm suprised that you have a mirror that can fit the size of your head, specially made was it. | buzzzzzzzz
06/9/2008 10:01 | sheeneqa don't you have better things to do? And before you knock the new bloke for his name only (school playground comes to mind), who you I presume do not know, do some research on him/background etc and wait for his first actions before judging. When is next trading update / results due anyone? | qs9 |
