Woops - Poor interims and very weak forward view - imo probably further to fall as most of us can put off redecorating for a few years when cash is tight,

We are now at the start of our important autumn selling season and believe that market conditions are likely to become more challenging, especially in the UK and Europe."

CFX - okay statement UK-I but they sound far less confident they they did at year end. They are very susceptible to the movement in the £ v $.

I would think 34p eps this year from all these have said. A PE of just 9 still imo, more like a PE of 7 if you strip out the cash that's worth nearly 20% of the mkt cap imo.

Still on the up, and I'm not surprised.

Seen that 25K @ 280p last night?

I think these would hav been up more today were they not on a big high - punters less inclined to buy a high like that.

I think the first pull back will be bought up sharp tho - I woul think there's plenty that would like a few CFX on this rating imo.

I think they'll easily beat 30p eps salver2

"Current trading continues to show improvements over last year" Only needs the slightest improvement over last year to do 30p eps and on top of that they are seeing some big orders fulfilled in the decorationg this year which is the cream on top.

I'd be disappointed with a less than 7p eps improvement in H2 for and 34p for the year myself but lests see.

Staggering amount of cash increase too - the can keep doing share buy backs or give us a 30p+ special divi with ease imo.

Making all time highs on the chart today - no resistance there now.

Well, looks like they'll smash the silly 18p eps forecast by a country mile and more imo :-)

5p up on last years continuing opps at the halfway stage. Just another 5p up in H2 would be 31,6p eps for the year but with the decorating division having a particularly good time I'd expect there scope for far more imo.

£7m net cash - 20% of the mkt cap.

On course to do best ever earnings of 28p this year by some way imo.

To think we're in a recession - wonder what they'll do when the US picks up steam.

Least cautious statement I've ever heard from CFX I think, dare say the brokers will upgrade forecasts by a dopey amount again for CFX to wallop at year end again, as they do - what are the point of broker forecasts so way under reality all the time?
