20/11/2024 19:11 | Reduced uk defense spending | robertball
19/11/2024 06:19 | Increased UK defense spending. South China Sea, Taiwan | robertball
19/11/2024 02:37 | Looking forward, weakened hezbollah, Iran mullahs, and Gaza fighters make a settlement of some kind more likely than 6 months ago. Similarly Ukraine for different reasons. At some point then, analysts will consider surely whether the heady rises of most defence contractor shares, should pause-or even retreat. So, wondering if it's time to take money off the table?? (As rothschild famously said, you never get poor taking a profit) Views please? Personally, I would sooner leave some on the table through exitng too soon, than watch healthy profits on chrt reduce. | shaker45
16/11/2024 23:49 | The IHT reduction benefit of QUALIFYING AIM stocks (only after a two year holding period) is being reduced by 50%. This could lead to a moribund portfolio with reduced benefits. . I need to refresh if there are any HMRC provisions for rolling over that relief on sequential investments. | tightfist
16/11/2024 17:35 | I sold CHRT at a substantial profit to avoid the potential risk of a change in the IHT treatment of AIM listed stocks which could have dragged on the share price That risk seems to have receded. I'm now minded to re-enter. | tournesol
12/11/2024 19:38 | I think your right on a min 12 pound bid. Given the age of the directors I wonder at what point they may wish to cash out and have a happy retirement.Or.. a bid comes along for which for the bigger companies we are small fry. Interesting times. | hopeful holder
12/11/2024 16:04 | This would be absolutely flying if shroders weren't selling a few | harrywilliam
11/11/2024 10:46 | Any bid has to be north of 1200 imho. One for the ISA!!! | robertball
11/11/2024 10:05 | Or big contract , must be something causing this | ricky46
11/11/2024 09:28 | Yes you have to wonder! At least 1200? | gswredland
11/11/2024 09:13 | Breaking out nicely, I do wonder if a bid is coming soon, fingers crossed for a good one if so | harrywilliam
08/11/2024 14:05 | Yes good to see while the footsie is falling | gswredland
08/11/2024 14:00 | 52 week breakout high | ricky46
30/10/2024 13:33 | Defence budget increased by 2.9 billion quid next year | harrywilliam

06/10/2024 17:58 | That's true. Joining FTSE250 also increases liquidity as funds tracking the FTSE250 index buy into it.It increases visibility and interest which will mean more investors. Not sure if CHRT needs it - it can also borrow money at cheaper rates. | shared24
06/10/2024 16:51 | Not sure I understand. Chrt can migrate to the main listing of the LSE whenever it wants to. That will involve some additional upfront expense and will incur additional costs each year going forward. If it does it will join around 2000 other companies which have a full listing on the LSE. The FTSE 250 is simply the index of the 250 biggest companies of the 2000. | tournesol
06/10/2024 15:53 | Thanks for that ...As I hadn't realised PRTC was bottom of the class. I might add PRTC has an upcoming readout this qtr which might change that. But then CHRT looks like its in a good space. | ohisay
06/10/2024 15:46 | I meant would CHRT join if it became eligible for FTSE 250?PRTC which is the lowest in FTSE 250 is currently at 348m. CHRT has a market cap of 364m. | shared24
06/10/2024 14:02 | And there are companies much bigger than Chrt who remain aim listed. | tournesol
06/10/2024 14:01 | What do you mean? I'm not aware that there is an upper size limit for Aim. | tournesol
06/10/2024 12:49 | Market cap | shared24
06/10/2024 12:43 | What "limit" do you mean? | tournesol |
