Project CARS 3 Release Timing

Codemasters (AIM:CMD), the award-winning British video game developer and publisher specialising in high-quality racing games, is pleased to announce that Project CARS 3 will be released in late Summer 2020 for PlayStation(R)4 computer entertainment system, and the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and PC via Steam.

Created in 2015 by Slightly Mad Studios, the Project CARS franchise has achieved both critical and commercial success, with global sell-in figures over 5.4 million. Both Project CARS and Project CARS 2 average 83% on reviews aggregator site Metacritic. The franchise has also established itself on the esports scene, with high-profile competitions including the recently announced Logitech McLaren G Challenge using Project CARS 2.

This iteration continues its tradition for delivering an authentic racing experience. The game boasts over 200 elite-brand cars, over 140 global circuits, complete with 24-hour time cycles and evocative all-season racing weather.

Project CARS is one of the franchises that make up Codemasters' portfolio of racing games which include DIRT, GRID and the F1(R) series of videogames.
