well, with the holiday on MOnday I hope you can contain yourself till Tuesday, since that's the earliest anything could happen. But personally, I'm still not entirely convinced this is going to be good news. The ski-slope of the share price even before the sub-prime problem was not a good sign. I hope I'm wrong, and maybe I'm just getting weary since all my stocks got hit hard over the past two weeks, maybe that's making me jaundiced.

So, we all just have to keep our fingers crossed, or if you're in danger of wetting yourself Sparky, maybe keep your legs crossed as well!

why would erin want to let go of any shares in the short term, if re-rating as per sparky's theory is imminent

Has anybody phoned the company? There is a number to call on the RNS - but I'm afraid I've never called a company, so wouldn't exactly know what to ask! Can you ask them a straightforward, "is this because of good news or bad news"? And would you trust them if they said "good"?

Hmmmm...

Hmmm possible

but these companies operate in a different world to us - would be interesing after the recent Fed drop in Lending rate to banks as a 1% reduction in borrowing costs to CCH add 2M to the bottomline on profits.

Interst rates have peaked and coming down ( excluding the UK as the BOE live in a different world focucing to much and Inflation and not the world and UK ecomomies - thus driving the UK in a credit cruch in 6-18 months time )

CCH will not borrow in the UK they will borrow in the US, Middle east etc

PS - thinking about it this has been suspended for some time now , do you really think a 0.5-1% increase in borrowing costs would have taken this long ? and i doubt this as interest rates tend to be fixed between big boys.

But if you are trying to borrow an extra 500M - 1B now that does take some time to work up and discuss and lawyers involved etc etc etc

or they are having to refinance some credit at a higher rate of interest due to some problem with an existing line. However I hope it's sparkys version!

They are seeking to increase funding line significantly to say 1 Billion which means 4 Billion as it indicates a 4x trading to funding.

The intersting point is the profit margin

so if they get the funding we are talking a major re rating

when it comes from suspension i also expect a trading update prior to results in sept
