That is the present state of affairs, things may alter if it is thought viable to reverse a company into the shell.
There must have been a very good reason why 2 directors bought more shares at the death so to speak,to keep the company solvent

I've just spoken to the liquidators and a report will be out in July but shareholders should not expect any cash back.

thanks pc - i was still wondering was there any chance they could still reverse Cscape into this and relist. Sometimes when companies like this relist the stock will fly as it has been shorted big style.

My understanding was that the first 6 months was
for relisting and the year which will be up on
27/07/2008 the MVL.

i think so( may be a small charge), and i think that this will happen.
If this is going to happen to CMS then we are only a few days away of finding out, give the date of 27/7/

Just over one month to go?

EGM for MVL, july 27th last year.

So its near MVL time.

My shares in CWV have just re-appeared on my online share dealing account (with HSBC Invest Direct). The 'trade' shows up as:

11 Apr 2008 Stk in CMS WEBVIEW ORD (EXTINCT) Settled

they had previously disappeared from the account on 8th Feb marked as Liquidn

The online portfolio shows them as value £0.0035

What's going on ?!

Thanks for the information.

With the company supposedly being solvent, that opportunity for them does exist.

Let us hope they have some integrity and are actually trying to salvage something.

It doesn't sound too optimistic though.

CL, my thoughts on this are that our management are 'riding this out'
as long as they can, taking as much as they can in wages, probably
looking for alternative employment for themselves before finally
'pulling the plug' and allowing the remaining shareholders what is
left of the company?

Edit: I have often thought about compiling a list of Company Directors
from companies such as this, that IMHO lead investors along the road of
to closure and financial loss with the purpose of being very wary if their
names pop up in other companies that I hold share in. [For my personal use].

The view being if they do, I would sell those shares a.s.a.p.

Announcement 28th Jan 2008

28 January 2008

In the company announcement of 7th September 2007 it was reported that discussions were taking place with companies whose business may be suitable for a reversal into CMS. Whilst such discussions continued none reached a satisfactory conclusion. As indicated in the members Voluntary Liquidation announcement of 27th July 2007 and, as the company has not resumed operation as a trading entity within six months, the London Stock Exchange has confirmed today its delisting of the company.

Talks are still underway, with the assistance of the Liquidator, to attempt to realise the value of CMS' intellectual property namely its proven TDI data management product.

A key factor of the process in a member's voluntary liquidation is that the Company is solvent which remains the case.

Further announcements will be made in due course including any statutory notifications to shareholders.

Has anyone heard any update since this last piece of news? Is the company now completely finished or are the above quotes from 'flopsey', '1littlejon' and 'SSBN 742' just speculation of where they think it will all end.
