23/1/2020 10:12 | Pleased too. One competitive advantage CMCX has over other competitors like IG and PLUS for instance is their technology and platforms. They seem to have something unique there. | cfro
23/1/2020 09:05 | Pleased with update today and good to see company give the consensus range of forecasts and saying they will exceed the upper range for revenue or net operating income at £189m, looking at the mid range of PBT at £43m it would convert to about EPS of 13.5p which values the company at good value imo. | interceptor2
23/1/2020 08:28 | Positive trading update held back by a down day for the market, excellent chance I reckon of a move above 170p in days ahead though. Longer term much higher possibly given past highs. | its the oxman
23/1/2020 07:09 | Well it's a good update. Was going to sell today, will probably hold instead. | hiraniha

16/12/2019 13:53 | Idiot, this is doing well, maybe not today, but these rises in the indices will be reversed, we have not left theEU yet, that is the easy bit, negotiating trade deals immensely challenging, ok so we do have a Trotskyite in power, but not a lot will change, UK fiscal situation very strapped for cash, all those promises will look very hollow in a year’s time! | bookbroker
16/12/2019 13:17 | Looking sad atm ! | gbh2

22/11/2019 15:31 | CMC MARKETS : RAISES GOALS FOLLOWING PROFIT SURGE 11/22/2019 | 06:23am GMT Spreadbetter CMC Markets yesterday reported a jump in net operating income for the first half and raised its full-year target as traders adapted to changes following a regulatory clampdown on high-risk bets. Net operating income rose 45 per cent for the six months to 30 September, hitting £102.3m. This rise was driven by a higher contract for difference (CFD) revenue per active client, which climbed 45 per cent to £2,047 and an 164 per cent increase in stockbroking net revenue. Raising its forecasts, the company said it now expects net operating income for the full year to exceed £180m. 2019 City A.M., source Newspaper | 3rd eye
22/11/2019 15:31 | PJ0077...........the less stock in free float the more the share price rises due to liquidty issues that suits me. | 3rd eye
22/11/2019 14:44 | Isn't Cruddas getting on a bit now. Obviously his choice but he might want out at some point. Haynes has just put itself up for sale, can't Cruddas do something similar if he wants to pass things on, though not saying it's likely any time soon. | its the oxman
22/11/2019 11:45 | How is that likely to happen when the founding shareholder owns 62% of the shares?! | pj0077
22/11/2019 10:10 | CMCX CMC Some very impressive figures here in latest RNS. A Tory win (coalition) would surely have traders using stored up cash and buying stock with derivatives increasing. Chart shows downtrend channel ready to be broken and share price rising. I purchased earlier this morning. | 3rd eye
21/11/2019 23:26 | Will look to add more here, future earnings potential looks good, certainly from 121p , and always a chance cmc gets taken out at a premium by someone. | its the oxman
21/11/2019 18:41 | Weird reaction | hatfullofsky
21/11/2019 17:53 | I too thought the results were rather good, especially given where the company has been the last year. As i bought some shares today on the back of the results i am immediately underwater. We will have to see what happens around the Aussie regulations and how burdensome they are or not as the case may be. The company has, however, already intimated that revenues will be around £170m for the full year which would give eps of around 16p. | cfro
21/11/2019 17:00 | Possibly, but I thought the results were very good. | imranawan |
