No problem soulsauce as it is all guess work [by all of us] but remember that markets have a habit of always over shooting in either direction!

Got my interest again, always liked this and looks like things are starting to move along.

Monster resource any partner comes in to drill will see this move a huge amount, I guess market will speculate on this and price will go up as it is all there in black and white.

"Data room opened post period end in January 2017 to secure partner(s) to participate in drilling exploration wells on the Company's licences - significant level of interest seen"

What does appear to have happened though, I think with recent news that we have bottomed out and should build from here towards June.

That seems fair comment cpap man although I would be at your lower end for farm-in and probably 30p+ for gas strike depending on the farm-out %age.

IT seems fair to assume that there will be more dilution going forwards for aquisition etc as pointed out in the prelims ,not a problem as long as that dilution brings added value. The uk doesn't have particularly good gas storage ,gas stored in case of supply interruptions and this would make the gas developments in the southern North Sea a priority for government, increasing storage capacity would also help alongside securing our own supply of gas.The next few months here could be interesting with dare I say at least a 50-80% upside on the share price

Major farm in = 10p to 15p

Gas strike = 20p to 30p

To be able to estimate june as a possible farmin / jv date suggests to me that decisions have to be made by them,ie go away and think about it now you have seen the data and let us know before end of june.

Based on the below extract, would Cluff have to raise additional funds for this & will they be buying into early stage exploration assets years away from develop?

Mr Cluff also said CNR would be in the market for new licences in the 30th licensing round.

The Oil and Gas Authority said last month that the 30th round was likely to be announced towards the end of the current quarter.

Mr Cluff said he expected a number of so-called small pools to be up for grabs.

There are about 350 unsanctioned marginal fields containing more than 3billion barrels of oil on the UK continental shelf.

Mr Cluff said the small pools on offer represented a “very interesting opportunity” for CNR

I was using the figures of WORDOG and then I posted again.

Of course no one knows just what Terms and Conditions Cluff will come up with but the pressure is on and we should await their Report and Accounts as he will want to come out with the big package.

We shall wait and see.............

It's just a wait and see gamble.

Certainly, just not sure at what point Anley believes 9/10p will be achieved

All depends on the terms of any deal agreed between cluff and the farm out partner .
For example the deal could be a share of profits or it could be an outright sale of the license. Many ways to play this out.
So all still speculation as to valuation .

Hi Anley Are you saying 9/10p on the announcement of a farm out or is that the figure on successful drilling of proven gas reserves in line with expectations?

AT 9-10p I shall be out and going on holiday. There is no way you can make a case for for a M/C of £30million just because there is gas under the sea bed.........or can you???

Interesting article on Friday. Out of 23 companies - 22 are interested and hoping to have farmout by June. I'll have a dabble here Monday.

Well it looks like someone is collecting these shares and the market makers are accomodating them so for now I.shall follow the money .

We all know that but what will CLNR be left with.........?

The valuation of say 5p is tops at the moment based on the per centage he has to give away.................he has Haliburton in tow but its too small for them - so I have been told by one of their competitors.

If he raises more funds we MAY be delighted but at the same time diluted as he will so
all in all a tough one for the CLNR management.
