Absolutely correct jimbojet17. Excellent post. Many investors really just don't get the model for these types of companies.

'History' ??!!

The financial news goes up to just weeks ago....imho it is "now"....not historic at all....
..and pathetic growth from H1 to H2 & never ending talk about importance of just 1 client/agent infers imo that the chance of achieving +5 million turnover in 2017 to get closer (not achieve) to breakeven is imho 100% IMPOSSIBLE !!

(Note....loss makers on AIM have to spin their news....in order to get access to new cash from investors)

Re the expenditure and net loss it's important to remember how a SaaS business works, and why their mention of churn is critical. SaaS companies spend a lot to acquire customers with a view to making that money back over many years to come. This means that initially you have a large(r) outlay but once you've got that customer you don't need to spend that money again. Also worth noting that the cost to service SaaS customers is negligible. If you want to learn more look for articles on CAC and lifetime customer value for SaaS businesses

It's all about the bottom line, these fanny merchant's have been stealing investor's cash for years, unless the directors are prepared to work for nout, instead of their ridiculous salaries, this co. will never make a net profit!

Fair enough smithie6 - I have not commented thus far as I remain sceptical/cynical. But that could be just CALL's history and my poor investment shrouding my judgement.

Maybe fresh investors can see something different.

Next up will be the hard figures in the results March / April.

...imho the mkt is wrong !

Just tweeted my view on the update and H1 to H2 growth and loss rate...

@fulltimeinvest

But each to own view

---

imho the losses are also recurring !...& g'teed ...unless get phps 5M more turnover without increasing admin. costs (in reality admin. costs wld of course also increase)....& H1 to H2 turnover growth was 0.3 million !....microscopic !!

How has Simon C. kept his job as the boss for so many yrs yet the co. loses 3.6M/yr & it just eats cash....& still just eats cash...?! Ridiculous imo

Key thing now is that they've reached a "tipping point" and hence this line from today's statement is crucial, "the fact that circa 85% of the Company's revenues are now recurring or repeating, provides good earnings visibility and underpins the Board's confidence in the Group's outlook for 2017."

Gold dust as an investment with 85% of revenues guaranteed before the year starts and add in 78% gross margins the future looks very bright.

The company have announced their trading update within the first three weeks of Jan in each of the last 3 years, best guess for me is this week, but I could be wrong.

Hope to see the trading update next week. This will hopefully show an increased ramp up in sales, a much lower loss and clear visibility to cash flow break even in 2017. This company has let shareholders down in the past but I am feeling optimistic that this could be the break through announcement that long suffering shareholders have been waiting for. GLAH

Promising chart, if it can progress from here. Would be good to have PP do a write up for pis on the current state of the business case. I understand he uses their product? Director buys and interest of Miton fund are all positives. Track record, however, is not.

I sense us PI's have a similar view, the company has been over optimistic and under delivered. However, the most recent fund raise and management changes and a more focussed approach may have laid the foundation for strong growth but we need to see evidence in the figures (trading update in Jan). I am giving management another chance and feel the last 6 months shows definite signs of progress so lets hope I am proved right..for once. GLAH

To each their own, but I feel now would be the wrong time to get out. I too have significant losses btw, not quite 6 figures though. With the Bullhorn partnership and management changes through H2 I feel they deserve another trading update before calling this one.

Fair play to you Peter. I have written off a six figure sum here rather than sell (which would have been the sensible thing to do!).

I have absolutely no idea where this one will end up.

Still, there is more to life than money.

All the best to you in 2017.

Cheers

Ray

Just sold out guys after several years, and having bought at MUCH higher price. Just don't have any confidence in the Management. Hope I haven't made another mistake but still wish you all luck for 2017

Aye, a LONG way to go 140661. At some point they have to get it right and come up with a strategy that works.

Not sure I will look forward to the trading update though!
