For anybody whose interested - I spoke to Earnest & Young yesterday - they are looking after the administration of Carbo PLC. They advised that shares in the company have zero value.

Does anybody know what the latest update is on Carbo? Are they dead and buried or are the ashes still smouldering? Their Website appears to have disappeared...

One would guess that Mr Roberts and others will arise from the ashes phoenix like in the not too distant future.

You would have thought he would have communicated with you as promised, the whole business is unfortunate to say the least for the shareholders and a number of employees, perhaps Mr Roberts and others are constrained in some way as to what they can say publicly because of their obligations to the administrators - Ernst & Young.

Befuddled

I have been without a connection for over a month - British Telecom!

No reply from Mr Roberts, although he said he would be in contact after his holiday some weeks ago. I do not think he can face the fact that he may have failed to act properly as a director.

Interesting though that many transactions by Carbo were for the direct benefit of directors - they are required to advise shareholders of these but did not do so.

I think that all the directors just hope to get away with their failings at the expense of us shareholders
