"The directors are aware of the need to give hope to investors. Almost ten years after negotiating an agreement in Ghana it has not been ratified and we do not know when it will be. The Equatorial Guinea block award is a positive development but it too has complications. We like our strategy of selecting good geology with politics being a secondary concern but we are considering other directions."

any update ?

"encourage foreign expertise"

You may have got that right.

Other companies - actual oil companies - have been invited to the party.....

However this government in Ghana has been laying the pieces
in a constructive way around the world to
encourage foreign expertise etc, and they were the ones talking
to us all those years ago. Just bare that in mind.

How hungry would a dog have to be before it tried to eat its owner ?

There are no miracles in the Clontarf Kennel. It is all about hype at the appropriate time to insure that the directors live to the style to which they believe is justified. Investors who believe in miracles are a necessity for this MO.

TD... Yes more than 14 yrs I think. The thing is though there are still some out there that still believe these companies are going to make a success of something and increase "shareholder value" LOL !!

Exile it must be more than 10 years since we started ringing the alarm bells on the clontarf kennel - I think that you were here before me. The same ramping suspects have gone elsewhere since - and no great surprises have lost more money while taking others down in pastures new. Others' lives have been ruined by the salary churn crew.

The latest update revealed company has taken a £2.6million write-off after a partner in a Peruvian project walked away.
This left leaving Clontarf with no value as the exploration licence in question was handed back to the State. There have been setbacks in Ghana and Bolivia too along the way.

No Value in the license...…230;…. No value in the company...… No Value.

It is virtually impossible to raise serious money.

Not surprising given the track record of utter and abysmal failure, honest or otherwise... #sackthehat
