08/7/2007 21:07 | scburbs. drip drip but the market cap. says a collapse could easily happen. Anyone notice the 200,000 trade go through last week at 800 while the 'market price' was about 840 ? . Take your pick and make your bets but this green thing is daft and funnily enough the Live Earth concert could possibly be the top. A load of has beens singing and flying around the world and Al Gore shouting like a preacher from one of them wild churches. I'm a bit green myself when it suits me and the stock market is fluorescent green at the moment so we'll see what happens. While it's a MM stock they can play games. | mickconn11
06/7/2007 16:49 | I never had this one down for a drip drip fall. I was thinking more in the way of a collapse, but it probably needs some news for that. Still "worth" £900m! | scburbs
05/7/2007 19:35 | Fidelity Investments got another 250000 | sllab101
29/6/2007 22:11 | Mick ment dissapointing for the longs, I dont have a position but have been watching as a posiable short although I usualy sb long,I feel with the markets so high I should look at shorting but still need to learn a bit more as with that many buys would have been put of opening a short and missed 5.5 points ! Cheers Sam | sam66
29/6/2007 21:32 | Sorry ID.No grudge held please forgive my rude post. And I am very pleased that BP is doing so very well now and I hope it is a long lasting climb this time. Hope you have a very good weekend. | sllab101
29/6/2007 21:13 | sllab - I took two short positions here, the first at 650 and the second at 900. When you go short you are "paid interest" overnight, just like you end up "paying interest" when you are long. But I do agree that I am a complete pratt when it comes to trading and even understanding many of the financial instuments I make use off. On the other hand, I don't "play around" with much money for short term trading and my long-term strategy based approached has paid off magnificently and seen my net equity asset value rise 15 fold since 1998. Nowadays I trade for fun. I don't need the money anymore and I don't give any advice at all. Just trying to enjoy a spot of idle banter with other expats most the time, so please stop bearing your grudge. | idioterna
29/6/2007 20:33 | sam66. Why dissapointing drop ?. It's an opportunity to sell a three legged donkey for the price of a six legged donkey. Don't look a gift donkey in the mouth. Evening all. | mickconn11
29/6/2007 17:33 | The buy/sell indicator is a guess only - your figures show is how bad a guess it is rather than how one sided it is. | gbb483
29/6/2007 16:32 | Sorry Mick cant help you on that one Disappointing drop today with the markets being up although advfn trades show 121 000 buys to 14000 sells I appreciate if investors don't want to pay full ask price this brings the price down but it seems very one sided! | sam66
28/6/2007 21:11 | Does anyone know why there is no Direct Market Access (DMA) available on this stock. ? I'm relatively new to this one (luckily for me as if I'd found it when it was trading at a fiver I probably would have started shorting it then). So why not any DMA. Does anyone know the finer rules of AIM because this must be one of the largest cap stocks in London without Direct Market Access. If it was available you could really test the displayed prices because as far as I'm concerned they're not kosher. Any thoughts ladies and Gents. Ta. | mickconn11
27/6/2007 22:49 | sam.Yes Spain. Don't take any notice of the prats who are short.I don't think they are short they are just trying to sound smart, this guy must be the only person who has to pay to go short.(I've been short since 650 and finally doubled up on GS warning. Been a killer on margin & interest though.) ok he might be just a Idiot. Don't be mean go green. | sllab101
27/6/2007 22:33 | It's not going down it's going up as soon as the news comes out about Spain. Your shorts will cost you one Hell of a lot of MONEY. | sllab101
27/6/2007 22:24 | Idioterna. It's going down. Adding is what you should be doing. The price action suggests you're more solvent today than you were yesterday. Are you blagging. ? | mickconn11
27/6/2007 10:32 | Although profits are currently low, have they not got some good orders? ie. on forecast earnings, does the picture not look better? | the_doctor
27/6/2007 10:31 | I give up. There is no rational explanation for the share price to be at these levels, but the market can stay insane longer than I can remain solvent. Closed short positions at a loss - can't believe it. | idioterna
26/6/2007 21:15 | Just looked at the chart again. RSI rock bottom. Now that could be a bit bullish. | mickconn11
26/6/2007 21:09 | Technically a dead cross with the 20 MA about to cross the 50 MA. 50 MA clearly breached so a possible target could be the 100 MA around 760-780. But technically with these MM stocks the rascals like to give it the runaround and they've got the benefit of a naughty spread so we could see a bit of a tree shake. Can it re-test the highs.. you bet it can. Fundamentally.. well Caz. like it. Sold a few more today. | mickconn11
21/6/2007 20:02 | Cazenove. aaah. Bless 'em. | mickconn11
21/6/2007 11:19 | Cazenove reiterates in-line for Bradford & Bingley, has an outperform for Serco, an outperform for Renovo and an outperform for Clipper Windpower | sllab101
20/6/2007 08:14 | Closed my short yesterday after seeing a 75k MM sell have no effect on the bid, yet modest buying moving a couple of them up on Level 2. Still think these are overvalued, but I thought I'd "let the trend be my friend", and it appears that CWP may have bottomed for the time being. Will continue to monitor the situation though. | madmix
18/6/2007 23:48 | I take your point nirvs, though for most of the day there were two MMs sitting on the bid at 850p. One of them moved down at 16:20 I seem to recall, so it will be interesting to see if the price weakens further tomorrow. | madmix
18/6/2007 20:00 | Closed my short today as the price did not budge with the trades that went thru today (MM Sells and sells below indicative Bid). There could be support near here at the 50ema...Time will tell. | nirvs |
