08/3/2018 16:17 | These Clipper shares are doing well given the market conditions the retail sector is currently under. Just wait! hope is on the horizon i feel, with; Morrisons Nutmeg going 'online' from September/October, ASOS Europe booming, Zara ramping up click and collect, John Lewis sales increasing and hiring 80 more staff for own brand fashion, clicklink skewed to H2, ASDA Ecom increasing, pep&co going into poundland stores and fingers crossed on potentially oxford street consolidation contracts from what i read in the Evening standard. | curryfingers
07/3/2018 18:52 | Wait for the clipper director sells, they will be in the know. | albert3591
07/3/2018 14:13 | 60 new look shops shutting. | albert3591
13/2/2018 15:23 | What did I tell you. | albert3591
05/2/2018 15:36 | New look having problems with credit insurance,it will get a bit of stick about that.Clipper has a big contract with them. | albert3591
31/1/2018 21:18 | It happens when share schemes come up for their staff exercise them,it is known they will get the jitters and sell. Then the share price will rise again.lol as much as you wish but it dropping as I said, and will rise again when enough have sold. | albert3591
31/1/2018 19:18 | Lol if you think you can predict the market it will make a fool of you. I have no idea where price will go. If it breaks lower I sell and move on otherwise I keep holding. | davr0s
31/1/2018 10:12 | Still dropping davros, I thought it would. | albert3591
25/1/2018 11:15 | mauricemonkey - I guess that's why several of us are holders. I was looking into some of the newer online startups to identify best investment options. I kept noticing clipper being mentioned - so I looked into what clipper did, liked what I saw, and took a stake. (Also ended up putting a chunk of change into Sossander too - one of CLG's new customers - but that's more akin to a speculative gamble, rather than an investment). So far, very comfortable with holding CLG for the long term. Cheers, PJ | pj fozzie
24/1/2018 20:53 | Held up better than I thought, still 5%ish above the placing price. I agree with Super, this is a great way to access the growth in online without the difficulty of picking individual winners. | mauricemonkey
24/1/2018 08:34 | I'm afraid I don't take too much notice of anyone that predicts the market. If it turns into a loser I'll take a small loss - otherwise it will hopefully become a big winner. I'm a tad below break even and am making no predictions or forecasts on where it will go. I'm just playing the probabilities across the market | davr0s
24/1/2018 08:28 | Davros....AS I said the fall has started,down to £4.18 or there about I think then a rise to £5.15.Hopefull | albert3591
23/1/2018 21:42 | Maurice. Parkin is the key man and he sounds like the kind of Yorkshire businessman who will keep driving this on ( like Hornsby at Ideagen ). I bought these as a way into the online fashion industry without being caught out when a particular brand loses appeal. | superadams
23/1/2018 21:03 | Learn to read more carefully is the lesson I take from that. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction Super. I guess numerous directors selling north of £40M shares isn't going to help the share price any! Hopefully instis will take them. If I understand correctly, the price won't be publically declared and they can't be sold for 90 days so that should reduce the impact somewhat? | mauricemonkey
23/1/2018 20:34 | They aren't institutions Maurice but the private vehicles of Clipper directors. | superadams
23/1/2018 18:51 | This placing a good thing or a bad thing? I've not come across a situation like this before were multiple institutional holders offer up their shares in one go like this... | mauricemonkey
15/1/2018 19:06 | Nah not for me - I'm holding a share that is breaking up. On average you'll profit | davr0s
15/1/2018 15:28 | Maybe a good time to sell some of these, the share price will probably go down before the saye shares are released to clipper staff. | albert3591
11/1/2018 08:55 | Also some Costco I am told. | albert3591
10/1/2018 15:24 | They are also doing some Tesco stores tobacco deliveries,northern ones I think. | albert3591

09/1/2018 17:17 | The won a further considerable M&S contact yesterday I believe. | smallcapinvestor1
09/1/2018 13:32 | Possibly seen as a cheap way into the ASOS boom. | superadams
09/1/2018 13:13 | This one is going quite a clip recently but more so today. Seems to be a very off the radar share with big potential which investors are just cottoning onto. up 25% in the YTD but over 16% in the last month. A momentum play and especially interesting if we can nose past 500p. I am only disappointed in that i want to accumulate here and now I have been spiked. | mach100
