Rated very highly overall and still performing awfully so what's going on? I am certain the brokers and the company executives stroke a deal to agree on pumping shiz.

Needs to go back up past 1150p to resume its momentum and performance trend of the last two years. With revenues up 28% in the 6 months to December 17, cash and eps up considerably more and the "specials" acquisition still kicking in, this looks attainable.

The UT Trade at 915p will have been the last trade of the day & this will be after the Auction & the mid-price close. The other trades will have been made earlier in the day but just processed after the close.

One thing that does concern me is the huge amount of sells after hours - Do we expect CLIN to open significantly down on Monday March 5th ?

healthtech. We're below the 900 mark now. I agree with you and may well add. There's plenty of mileage in this type of business. APH has taken a similar path (although much more slowly) with out of patent healthcare products which the big players don't want. I would prefer to see the directors holding more shares, Peter George having become an NED and selling a big chunk. Joihn Dawson at APH has also become an NED but seems to be holding onto his significant stake.

Overreaction. Commercial Medicines division is storming ahead and expected to grow further with Quantum Pharma pipeline. Clinical Trials Services gross profits dropped, which is what's driving this share price fall. At sub-900p, I'll buy more.

I can understand some people feeling nervous about CLIN's balance sheet. Strip out the £505.6m of intangible assets and shareholders' equity is minus at (£166.3m). Acquisitions have taken net borrowings to £141.8m from £62.3m a year ago. It seems likely that the balance sheet will take a further non-cash hit at the year end when i believe future leasing liabilities have to be included as a liability. On the plus side, cash flow could quickly reduce borrowings if there is a pause in the acquisition spree. Also, this is a modern 'asset light' business; fixed assets are minimal and stock plus debtors is below trade creditors plus tax, which allows painless internal growth. I shall continue to hold as they haven't put a foot wrong so far but the price would take a hit if there are any problems with acquisitions.

Looking at it from a pure charting perspective, it bounced off of the £10 area but failed at the fourth attempt and broke down, one to watch for when support comes in but where that is currently looks well below £9.00
