interim results for the period ended 31 March 2007.

Highlights :

*Net cash as at 31 March 2007 of #4.4 million (2006: #4.3 million)
*Loss before taxation for the period ended 31 March 2007 of #31,000 (2006:
profit of #31,000)
*Net assets per share as at 31 March 2007 of 6.17p (2006: 6.19p)

David Page, Chairman, commented:

If we had 'over paid' for a hotel last year, it would seem a bargain today, with the rise in property prices... lets not lose sight that money has a time value, and lets not get a 'bargain' at the top of the cycle!

I went to the AGM [sorry, I`ve been away since then]& Page explained they have looked at several deals, including hotels, but they are determined not to overpay. They have been outbid or unable to agree valuations on several occasions, because of this.

With the market aware the money is sitting in the company`s bank, Page said they are being shown plenty of opportunities, but obviously he could not commit himself in these circumstances as to when something might materialise.

2007 by Singer & Friedlander Investment Management Limited that, as at
20 January 2007, Singer & Friedlander Investment Management Limited has an
indirect interest in 4,259,208 ordinary shares representing 6.18% of the voting
