03/5/2018 16:23 | Worth noting that it is £500k of nominal share value they are seeking approval for. Nominal share price is 0.25p.Hence they could raise up to £1m by issuing shares at 0.50p or £2m if the shares were issued at 1.00p. | longshanks
03/5/2018 13:34 | Did they bring the price down to let in some big buys ? | gottopickapocketortwo

03/5/2018 11:35 | The court news will catch a lot of people out who have sold....buy now at this crazy price to reap the rewards....placing or not! | cudmore
03/5/2018 10:15 | For short term holders, one has to decide what bit of news comes next or will it be a placing first, after the agm approval for up to a further £500k. Past two placings have followed soon after a share price rise, so quick traders would need to act quick on any rise IMO. I think bond holders will be ok extending for a few more years. | nick rubens
02/5/2018 12:57 | 2 trade.....time to get back in. Massively oversold! | cudmore

02/5/2018 11:02 | Surprised not to see an update on Sipiem/Ondaland as that should mean a chunk of cash coming back to the company | timbo
02/5/2018 10:54 | Longshanks, think you may well have nailed it here. It's very much delayed expectations here although I do feel that they have the right man at the helm and reward will probably take a tad longer. | k1ngkonggb
02/5/2018 10:52 | I agree about some of the timescales being lengthy and the importance of cash in the short term. My point was that, as the villas are more certain in their value (no planning permission uncertainty etc), if they were sold at anywhere near their value significant cash could start to be realised within a few months. | timbo
02/5/2018 10:47 | I'm not a fan of the Crypto thing but i'm hoping they can list that enterprise in a mad frenzied market and make some money shorter term and equally not have to fund the crypto growth plans on their own, but from the newer investors after listing. All the legal claims stuff is going to take longer than I thought prior. The market is obviously disappointed with today's update and seemingly was pricing in something more value creating or at least value in the shorter term. | nick rubens
02/5/2018 09:59 | I have not been saying there is no value, just that the extent is questionable: the different levels of debt and legal complexity also make it hard to establish what the net asset value actually is.Mediapolis collapsed as a company and we now have to establish the value of the land. The court gave a valuation that CLP directors see as very conservative. But, what if it isn't. If the value is as low as the court suggests there will be no net cash for CLP shareholders. In time, though, this may all work out; the company acquires the land, gets planning for some development and in the process sells on the land for a decent wack of cash. For all that to happen it would take another 3-5 years and hence the bond extension. The scenario though also comes with a lot of "Ifs, buts and maybes".I remain therefore bearish in my position. | longshanks |
