Update, about as expected but with a £500k valuation for it's stake in GeoSim Systems Ltd, that had previously been written off.

Financial support from Eufingest to continue pursuing assets.

I assume there was press/public seating in the Court, most decisions are easily predicted whether it be murder, planning or appeals, this is nowhere near over and I still have faith that value will be around 1.8p

I don't think the appeal has anything to do with any changed circumstances. How I understand it is that they are appealing a decision they think is wrong to a higher Court authority, that has the power to over rule a lesser one if they deem it appropriate.

Here in the UK I've seen numerous times court appeals that have over ruled prior decisions. In Italy I don't know how many similar appeals are successful but the Directors must think they have a good and appropriate chance at least.

I suppose everyone has to take their sides ahead of it. Buy or Sell. That's the market.

The structure of the Italian judiciary is divided into three tiers:

Inferior courts of original and general jurisdiction.
Intermediate appellate courts which hear cases on appeal from lower courts.
Courts of last resort which hear appeals from lower appellate courts on the interpretation of law.

If that is the case, why did the judge ignore it when making his decision. Furthermore, no additional debt has been paid down since the ruling so there are no changed circumstances with which to bring forward an appeal. It seems like shareholders have not been given all the facts of the prosecution and why Mediapolis has had a winding up order issued.

Every chance of getting the winding up order overturned as creditor who launched the petition has since been paid in full. Seems pointless to insist on winding up.

Are you still holding Mr Jones?I see fatso has bought more but I don't see this going anywhere. I used to think the guy knew what he was doing, but I think he would be better off sticking to short positions that suit his cynical disposition better.Too much debt and no means of paying it off seems to be the end game being played out here.

In the recent interim results, whilst declaring net assets at €6m, their total current liabilities were reported as €20m.Given these results were before the wind-up order was ruled and the fact that CLP directors historically have been unable to convert assets into cash at anything near the balance sheet valuation, I really doubt a positive net asset position is achievable. They do have a first charge on the first €5m of Mediapolis but given the court valuation for the corn field is substantially less than this, it looks like cash coming back to CLP will be nearer €3m.Either way though, whatever cash may emerge following the wind-up of Mediapolis - it won't be enough. The maximum available of €5m would be swallowed up meeting debt obligations. Shareholders only hope was the green light to develop the corn field into the Mediapolis project and in due course realise €30m in value. The elephant in the room is that this project and that opportunity is DEAD.

There are other assets you know if you bother to read the accounts! NAV has increased over the last few months due to various measures.. now 2.5p. Share price 0.7p. Go figure... Happy to hold and add - and money can be made here if you look at the charts and the TWO spikes over the last few months - makes me wonder why non holders keep posting here...

Cheers LS, the market value at the moment is £2.45m so there must be some value in the land. Land is worth 5m euros supposedly, but has debts of 4.3m euros (recently acquired by CLP)?

Won't CLP be left with the land anyway? 100% of it, rather than 75% in it's current structure? My concern is the land may not be worth the stated figure.

The share price should tell you everything you need to know Nick.If the appeal fails - and I am fairly sure it will - there will be little if any value left for shareholders.
