Why does a Company Join London Stock Exchange AIM?

The following has been taken from the LSE “A Professional Handbook Joining the AIM” dated February 2010.

Here are just some of the reasons why a company might choose to join AIM

Entry criteria tailored to smaller/younger companies, giving a wide range of companies access to a public market at an earlier stage of their development, no trading record is required, and there is no requirement for a particular percentage of shares to be in public hands.

Easier acquisition rules, facilitating growth through acquisition

Unquoted status for tax purposes, which may be an advantage for some companies.

No minimum shares to be in public hands
No trading record requirement
No prior shareholder approval for transactions* (see exception below)
Admission documents not pre-vetted by Exchange nor by the
UKLA in most circumstances. The UKLA will only vet an AIM admission document where it is also a Prospectus under the Prospectus Directive.
Nominated adviser required at all times
No minimum market capitalisation

* Please note above there is an exception to this which is ‘Not applicable to reverse takeovers or disposal resulting in a fundamental change of business’.

Nobody knows if our BOD are intending to List Clear Leisure 2017 Ltd or use this Company to “park” some of our assets but I believe it is advisable for Private Shareholders to know of the “advantages221; of an AIM Listing.

Our CEO and Executive Chairman, Francesco Gardin has said over the past year and I quote from the RNS of 12th September 2016

“Following the anticipated return of capital, the Board believes the Company will represent a particularly attractive shell vehicle; with approximately £60 million of capital and trading loses”.

Given that piece comes from maestro, that craven co-delusionist of yours, I have grave doubts as to its credibility. That notwithstanding, should it be correct that the share price did indeed drop to 0.2p before recovering to 2.2p, I am afraid I don't believe that really qualifies it as a true ten bagger. Having dropped from 132p then it makes it more a 0.02 bagger and the recovery from 0.2p was just a dead cat bounce: all be it a rather phenomenal bounce.

Dates? You and your fantasy world Tenmujin. If you can't back up your anecdotal evidence with substance I suggest you keep your telling of myths and legends of giant fish that just got away to fireside chats with the grandchildren.

Nope. To date this has NEVER been a 10 bagger. Neither as Clear Leisure nor as Brainspark. You trot out the myth as "fact" so often Tenmujin that you have brought yourself to believe it true - but it is totally false and any cursory check of the historical trends will prove me right.

It's going to be an interesting final journey in my view, I will release a few on the way up over 1.5p but intend to see 500k through to the end result.
Keep the faith and good luck all.

If traders don`t have a courage to buy now that is 3vs1 what is their points? If they are really good traders they would start the move. But if we have a trader that buys 666k+336667 on friday and then he/she don`t see rns this early morning and cut and run(losing little in the process, this morning sell 1002667),then why trading this?0.7/0.8p is the current floor and a bit of courage will spark the move up to next level, imo.

I thought if I did not remind him he would depart centre stage and leave us alone while we charter a Learjet to Switzerland to deposit our takings in the Swiss Banks that are so obliging.
