26/10/2022 05:31 | The grenner the lithium the more the company will be sought after and can command premium prices, as our management have said. The same applies to the other metals, like copper and nickel. | the count of monte_cristo
25/10/2022 18:34 | Count a bit too much hyperbole there. Lithium is going to be in very short supply I suggest even if they had to use oil to extract it they would drill for oil to get it. Greenies are going to have to hold their pretty little noses. All lithium will sell but some will sell at higher prices than others. | pogue
25/10/2022 15:41 | CTL is the best lithium stock on AIM, by a long way. The layman investor in lithium stocks may not quite understand why the hardrocks are going to become much less diserable as the focus increases on 'greener' lithium sources. Additionally, the DLE is something which again the layman doesn't comprehend as a gamechanger. I would NOT invest in any of the hardrock lithium projects in Africa/Auatralia. What's the point of these EV's if we are exporting pollution to extract the vary materials we want to use to advance the energy transition. | the count of monte_cristo
24/10/2022 19:31 | Yes, how a listed company should be run. | flashheart

24/10/2022 12:07 | ACP - I have set up a new thread for this company, anyone interested in graphite is welcome over there From 2017, interesting to see how this has developed since 5 years ago | the count of monte_cristo
24/10/2022 08:36 | We seem to be quite keen on motoring away from the 47p placing area!!! | mostro
24/10/2022 08:32 | No, although there are many stocks I like listed on the ASX I just focus on the LSE listed resource stocks. I'm also not based in the UK. | the count of monte_cristo
24/10/2022 07:19 | Good Morning Count, Did you buy any GLN?? Not a stock I can buy with my pathetic HSBC Investdirect pile of poo.... But not being based in the UK it is more difficult for me to open a better Trading Account. Happy days ahead!! Go CTL!! | mostro
24/10/2022 01:42 | It's worth remembering who Mr. Kesler is and his background, he was the first CEO of the super giant copper mine 'Collahuasi', which is part owned by Anglo American, additionally he was involved with 'Escondida' (BHP), the worlds largest copper mine. You don't get put in those positions in Chile without serious knowledge, experience and respect amongst your peers. These mines produce volumes of capital the equivalent to some countries! He will have built up excellent in country contacts as well as contacts with the likes of Anglo and BHP, soild contacts to have when one considers how these majors are increasingly looking at the energy transition metals. Taken from the company website; Steve Kesler Non-Executive Chairman 45 years of executive and board roles experience in the mining sector across all major capital markets including AIM. Direct lithium experience as CEO/Director of European Lithium and Chile experience with Escondida and as the first CEO of Collahuasi. | the count of monte_cristo
24/10/2022 01:22 | GLN up 19% at the time of writing; Huge upgrade to their resource. | the count of monte_cristo
23/10/2022 05:42 | Keep an eye on ASX listed GLN tomorrow, they are due to release a significant resource update on Monday. We can compare to CTL. | the count of monte_cristo
23/10/2022 03:30 | It's possible that he was part of the fund raise, a question to ask Baldo at the next Q & A. | the count of monte_cristo
22/10/2022 12:27 | Just had a particularly irritating thought. What if Tim Leslie, much derided for sell a big chunk of his large shareholding in the last 3/4 weeks at circa 55p bought them back at 47p yesterday! | klosters65
22/10/2022 11:10 | Wee Jimmy, yes and I have always valued your input on PANR. I like PANR, vast untapped oil deposits remain in Alaska and PANR look very well placed, but something started to get to me about what and where I should invest my money. Do I want to be a part of the greener future or do I want to continue investing in fossil fuel companies. The world still requires a lot more oil, but I'd rather profit from companies who are going to be part of this energy transition. The graphite story is as good, if not better, than the lithium story. But it hasn't started to reach the critical mass where investors start to get involved. Worth keeping an eye on the graphite story. Regarding post 761, personally ACP looks a better pick than GROC as their mine is ready to go...just needs funding. PRE is an interesting rare earth stock I like. Rolls Royce targetting going completely electric by 2030. | the count of monte_cristo
21/10/2022 20:23 | Record volume day | gardenboy
21/10/2022 19:27 | I have been very leery of virtually all shares this year apart from Pantheon Resources.(The Count of Monte Christo will no doubt recognise me from PANR postings.) However I have heard from three institutional sources (market plus one resources fund manager and the Jim Rickard's webinar) over the last two weeks that if every lithium project on the planet comes in on time that there will still remain a 50% deficit for what is required to meet the net zero targets. Thus I have bought some CTL today after the weakness catalysed by last night's placing of CTL shares. Canaccord and Fox-Davies Capital are desperately excited about the long term opportunity. Not a recommendation but it feels like a superb long term investment. | wee jimmy |
