Hugely successful placing particularly supported by Regal as key shareholders but also many existing shareholders - as well as new. Over £12m raised in generally difficult mkt when £10m would have been seen as a great outcome. Minimal discount to VWAP. Many requests were scaled back.

Looking forward to the newsflow in coming weeks and months.
- LV rig started on site already
- FB rig next few weeks
- Llamara rig awaits final licences but matter of few weeks?

All leading towards further resource upgrades. I will not be surprised if LV & FB are 4mt together... with complete unknown for Llamara (could be enormous! Beauty is... nothing in the price!).

For those that missed the presentation last pm I think it will be on the website later today.

The money will really help expedite all three projects, during a period of huge interest in lithium. Makes sense to raise funds now and get going as fast as they can across all of the projects. Slight short term negative for potentially huge medium term payoff.

According to Telegram poster, demo and pilot plants are both in the Chile now awaiting customs clearance. Both paid for from existing cash not part of fund raise.

Agreed. It seems pretty immediate so maybe a beneficially important opportunity presented itself to get the monies pronto. Anyway as you say, it's done now and we wait. I don't know about you but I'm expecting a tsunami of news in the short term now. Once the placing is digested, I think we may see £1 plus in fairly short order.

Indeed, but it would have been better if it was at or above 50p, preferably done at a premium. But it's done now.

Funding done and out the way. Would have liked it to have been above 55p.
They can now accelerate progress across all three projects, if this 10m GBP increases the market cap many times it will be money well spent.

PWhite73 does raise some valid points, very few of us on these Boards have not been totally conned in the past, I can list several that have cost me dearly.
My faith in CTL is partly based on the fact that Lithium Carbonate is now circa 70,000 USD per tonne, up from 20,000 USD less than 2 years ago!!
If , and possibly a big if, you find alot of mineral (metal) valued at that level, your mine/lake is going to be enormously valuable.

When to share price falls tomo to the placing 47p price I will add big time!!

'In order to maintain momentum on our planned trajectory towards the production of battery grade lithium from our two assets in late 2024/early 2025'

You need to check your eyesight seems to me planned production date has not really changed. 2023 was pilot plant or maybe you made a simple mistake, you do seem to make a lot of them when quoting facts.

Oh and from tonight's RNS
The Company had received a highly attractive proposal from SunResin for the DLE unit of a pilot plant which intends to produce 1 tonne per month of battery grade lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide, targeted to commence in 1H 2023.

Doubt Tesla will move directly in, better to buy into lithium companies to gain controlling interests, or become a key shareholder or to simply just supply the cash required to build the projects with lucrative offtake agreements. etc.
