04/10/2007 05:44 | Should get good service then Mitzis if they are Polish. | johnrxx99
03/10/2007 12:06 | In Hills road Cambridge the GBK is next to Pizzaexpress and across the road from Wetherspoons. All the staff are Polish. Bit of interest today which is always welcome. | mitzis
03/10/2007 11:49 | Hi, all. Little dabble here for Ron. | largeronald
03/10/2007 10:50 | Just bt a few more of these before the dip in price goes away. I have been eating reguarly in the GBK in Richmond for a couple of yrs as well as sampling the one in Kingston and chiswick ( all in W London area). The food is just great, very high quality plus restaurants and staff always attractive / efficient. All ages eat there from families with babies to 20/30 yr old s to oldies. I am post 50 so hardly their target market and I just love it for casual meals pre cinema, post shopping etc. GBK is sooo scaleable - you could have one in every location that has a Pizza Express very easily. Also your average meal cost £12 say so unlikely to be affected by downturn in economy. | dorisken
03/10/2007 09:11 | Topped up today myself, still sitting on a small loss overall although I think that the fall has been overdone. I visited Bristol's GBK on Sunday and business was brisk. | lomax99
01/10/2007 09:00 | On a positive note I see that GBK has booked ground floor outlet in The Atrium complex being built in Camberley, Surrey and which will open next year. Sure fire winner IMHO given profile/knowledge of area. | liveinhope
01/10/2007 08:26 | looking to get in but waiting for the 'bottom'. | timmbo
30/9/2007 10:09 | Thanks for the info meteoric its always good to get first class information from an unbiased viewpoint. | mitzis
28/9/2007 14:00 | I see that Altium Capital reiterated on 26 September their buy recommendation with a target of £4.50. The share price did get up to over £4 quid earlier in the year but has since slipped back markedly. I believe the drop can be attributed to a) it got a little ahead of itself and therefore some profit taking; b)recent concerns regarding the future state of the economy and the possibility of a slowdown in consumer spending previously predicated on soaring house prices; c) Clapham's ability to make a success of rolling out their model, currently in the 'trendier' areas, into the provinces. I have bought and sold these successfully over the last year or so and am now back in. I believe their greatest asset is the quality of their management which is proven in simmilar businesses together with their model which I believe is capable of withstanding a moderate slowdown in the economy. Jazza, I live out in the sticks and seldom bother eating out. However my daughter's anecdotal evidence would back up today's AGM statement. She lives in West London and tells me her local GBK is always heaving with people queuing, her local Bombay Bicycle provides the best takeaway Indian in town and is very busy. Her local Greek is less busy but steady. She has no experience of Tootsies. When I was last up in London she did take me and my wife into the Putney GBK and we both thought their burgers were the best we had ever had....excellent ingredients. Good luck all with your investments. Robert. | meteoric
28/9/2007 11:30 | Yes please, it would be interesting, jazza. | diogenesj
28/9/2007 10:46 | Walked past what will be the York outlet on Wednesday...still being fitted out but guess it will open next month. There's an open day (recruitment fair) at the nearby Pitcher & Piano pub today..... Good location and not much competition (Burger King undergoing conversion to Nandos, nearby MacDonald's looking tired and swarming with chavs). Will give it a try when it opens and, depending on quality of food and amount of trade being done, may buy some....will post what I find here in case that's of use. J. | jazza
28/9/2007 09:26 | AGM statement: some detail, but no comment on trading overall. | diogenesj

25/9/2007 16:23 | The impression I get from my monitor list, is that people/funds are waiting to invest, fingers on the button ready to press, trouble is nobody wants to start the ball rolling... meanwhile all the prices are slowly drifting down, which reinforces peoples desire not to buy yet. | johnv
25/9/2007 08:51 | To be fair Sheik, so are most things in this market. | bigbigdave
25/9/2007 08:47 | SCSW are having a nightmare at the moment - CPH, JHL, CBAY, ARG, AGC, HAIK all tipped recently and getting a bit of a hammering. | sheik yerbouti

22/9/2007 14:05 | Don't think so, nurdin - but a lot of small companies have been very weak. I don't much like the chart here now, so I'm out for the moment. | diogenesj
22/9/2007 12:39 | I was away on Friday so was disappointed to see a 4.4% drop here when I returned.Any reason? Did the IC make a comment? | nurdin
19/9/2007 16:38 | Just watching at the moment, it seems like there is a seller in the background. If it doesn't hold here, next support on chart is 310p. | sheik yerbouti |
