Richard I was passing the Hills Rd branch yesterday at Noon and the day before.. it was packed out ..its a lovely restaurant with pine flooring and expensive fittings.
Not just students but people aged 30 plus..I usually frequent the Wetherspoons across the road but after the last burger I had I will in future go to GK instead.
Perhaps in the future they could expand by moving further up the street.
I was very impressed.

Tried to eat at the fairly new Cambridge branch (open about a month)on Friday at 730 the place was full and with a queue - we were told the wait would be about 25mins so I'm afraid I can't report on the food itself (maybe next time)! My daughter and her friends, who are students, have eaten there a couple of times and say its very good though and say it's been very busy since it opened. It's only small - 60 covers?? - and the kitchen seemed small to me too (BWDIK).(are they all the same?) They don't take bookings which maybe makes commercial sense but is quite irritating for a normal punter!
