I’m not so sure Basem1, this stock certainly bounces off the 16/17p mark, I’m watching with intrigue it’s bizarre!

Too many red lights at present despite the lowly valuation

Woodford and invesco still hold shedloads and have recently been selling down
One would imagine because of this:

AZN have agreed a BIG loan to CIR

However CIR have not given ant details whatsoever about this 5yr loan

The loan is IMO going to be around $150M and for 5 years

How CIR are going to pay/service such an amount with other competitors drugs likely to come to market/s in this time period I find difficult to see.

Hence buywell concludes

AZN have been very clever in getting CIR to do all the heavy lifting for them
If CIR can't now service their debts , AZN should IMO benefit at the expense of CIR shareholders.

Just read it again, on Monday Woodford himself suspended his fund from being traded by investors because he needs time to sort the fund out and he's still charging 100K a day in management charges lol!

Your need to find out, I think he himself suspended the account to stop investors of his fund taking money out because I read half a billion been took out in last month so he suspended account so he can see what to do with illiquid stocks to try pull the fund better, if you go into TW. Thread your see a link by a poster today. Will be better to read yourself.

Woodford suspended does this mean that they won't be selling anymore shares

rns out..the plot thickens as invesco have reduced their holding...still awaiting woodfords holdings rns to see how events unfold...i suspect they have been offloading in the background as late 500k sell popped up yesterday after the bell and another large sell (235k) appeared today...

so 2 issues here which create uncertainty and may affect share price:

1. woodfords holding of 28% by far the largest...if he sells on the market this could create significant volatility, or will he find another home?

2. Final deferred payment of $100 million is due by 30 June 2019 to Astrazeneca - how are CIR going to raise this? more dilution for shareholders??

woodford still holds a significant 28% and is the largest shareholder here...so be interesting to see how that will be offloaded as moving away from illiquid/unquoted stocks...will he sell into the rise? need to see holdings rns. Also siginificant payment due at end of 30 June by CIR...so plenty to deal with...

There will be a reason that Directors are not buying shares at these prices and that will be because they are in some form of close period.
The market seems to have mis-priced this given normal metrics but clearly some clarity would be helpful around the Woodford stake. For what it is worth I picked up 400,000 shares today.
