Do look interesting and have picked some under the radar stocks where an activist can have leverage.

MiFidII plays into the hands of these types. They now hold BBSN and PHD. PHD is showing a healthy profit for them already. Looks like PHD stake was bought via Lombard Odier.

Not so sure about BBSN. Too trendy for my liking and possibly very volatile.

One to watch.

The people running this are total blanks as far as I can see, and their motives might be activist rather than mere investors.

NAV 87.02p so discount ~16%. At the moment I don't see the point of this.

Orthofix (NASDAQ) .... 85,000 ............ cost $5m
Alkemy (AIM Italia) . 285,000 .... 5.2% .. cost €3.3m

NAV at 03/08 92.35p.

Needs a bigger discount to get me interested.

This might be an interesting novel small-cap trust (Guernsey-based).

Concentrated number of holdings (10-20), private equity interventionist approach.
Dividends unlikely.
High charges: 2/20.

No position at present. Quote of 100 - 104 is a bit off-putting.
