Something big coming off here. I can see a takeover by a blue chip company.

From Investors Cronical on 12 Jan

In the short term, energy efficiency and smart metering continue to be in vogue and energy technology companies who sell into large utilities are likely to prosper. Those companies with cost effective technologies will prosper over disruptive technologies that are still in the pilot testing phase. We favour Energetix, Vphase, Bglobal, and Cinpart.

holly, I too have taken a small position. I am going to look at the iii board to see what is on there.
Please email me the tool you were talking about on the SEA thread, at mailgerry138@gmail.com
Thanks,
Gerry

gerry - I'm the same, was very impressed by them on Thurs, and have since read up a bit more. Have started a small position, which hope to build on if good buying opp. presents itself or anything changes. Market size potential is staggering IMO, and proof of demand is there with their competitor.

Pity this board is so quiet would be good if there were some knowledgeable folk to discuss with

Hi Gerry,

To be honest this board has been hit by a number of people who seem to have a chip on their shoulder about Cinpart. Look at iii for some more posts on Cinpart although that seems to be the other extreme.

Always do your own research (which it seems you are)
Best of luck with the investing

Hi,
I went to the Proactive presentation on 7th. I went to hear the SeaEnergy presentation (where I am long) but was very impressed with the Cinpart presentation, it is a compelling story. I am still researching. I have just read through all the posts on this thread, but am surprised that there have been so few posts in the last few months, even though a lot has been happening. Do people post anywhere else?

I will read the broker notes mentioned in the header next. Incidently a hard copy of an Edison note dated 1st December was handed out at on Thursday.

Cinpart (CINP, 14p, £11.00m) has announced its Derlite subsidiary has won a contract for spark electrodes with Burner Systems International which is already a significant customer. The contract worth £0.65m secures a "substantive proportion" of the projected Derlite sales. With the potential of the Voltmaster subsidiary we continue to rate the company a SPECULATIVE BUY.

Been watching for a while but when I went to hear them speak perhaps 3 months ago, the comment was it was taking longer than anticipated to close deals. No news since then. Fair value is one thing ; revenue generation is another. Watching and still waiting.

I think its best to keep away from this discussion board. The company gets slated on here! I think its ex employees or previous investors who have lost a lot.
Fundamentally the technology the company has is strong and should perform in the long run.
Time will tell...
