09/11/2009 15:18 | Have to say, its about time this 'sparked' into life. I have been holding this on the basis of fundamentals for some time but it hasn't shown a great deal of energy since then. | mazarin

02/11/2009 14:16 | A quick look at today's trading statement shows a very marginal increase in sales and at least a resilience to 'challenging' market conditions together with an increase of 3% Interim dividend amounting to 1.90p payable on 2 December 2009 to holders on the register on 13th November 2009, | mazarin
31/10/2009 19:09 | Once again the figures are set to arrive just as our inconsistent friends over the pond decide to have a sell up. Let's hope they are good enough to fend off any downturn in indices and, in particular, are of a positive nature going forward. Regards PF | peaeff
30/10/2009 21:32 | Have to say, I'm feeling much the same way on this...yet somehow, I also think CHLD just may have the 'power to shock' us all. At first I thought today, may just be one of those occasions and watched with interest, but the 'flash' turned to smoke with 'no fire'. | mazarin
30/10/2009 09:18 | probably nothing more than speculation doing the rounds again...... vol is fair for time of day now .....650k @ 11.16 and over 7 points in the bin .....nice 15.24 edit : all them points evaporated..... looking like another flat week again.....this is starting to bore me now, i will give it another month and if not 180+ by nov end i will move on and put my funds to better use elsewhere | mrminister

22/10/2009 08:31 | this has not gone up when the market goes up and like wise when it goes down it holds up well .......i will write this month off for chloride as a none event. i read robbie burns has left us today......board-um his reason this needs a spark still holding...... | mrminister
21/10/2009 21:07 | Well, I have taken a lot of profits and am out of most everything I had - recently FENR, WSM, FXPO ,PRL, Only exceptions I have are CHLD and 2 x "dogs" in LLOY and TAN All else cash for the moment. Market needs a bit of consolidation or opportunities for profit takers in general but I think CHLD can go a bit yet , as the profit taking has been a pace with the rises | mr.oz
21/10/2009 09:10 | Target 185p for short, 255p longterm. | donut114

15/10/2009 22:12 | I note a significant after-hours 'Buy' of 182,694 shares worth £306,378.00 that took place after 'close' of trading today. Strange goings on..... why out of hours? | mazarin
15/10/2009 13:40 | its put that way to tie us up in knots...... i read it as before 12.263m and after transaction 13.198m | mrminister
15/10/2009 11:20 | blackrock increasing ? ....+ 935k. | mrminister
14/10/2009 18:48 | With all the talk at the back end of last week about power cuts in future years I would think many companies will be looking to secure their systems. I can see things escalating quickly as we move out of recession and we may well be better off if we don't get picked off. The trading statement was a bit of a tepid affair but who knows if that is the status quo or it's been purposely played down. There was certainly nothing bad about it. Regards | peaeff |
