Looking perky again. Would love to see that elusive 11p figure.

Like any AIM company they could be engaging the mkt with project news, updates, or even interviews, Then punters might see a tangible reason, and normal share price traction, to 11p, and if that normal AIM PR practice took place they wouldn't need to be toying around with a Hong Kong list anyway, oxymorons

If punters have to pay equivalent of 11p for fundraise in HK market listing - when the stock is 3p offered in UK, then why not buy (some) now and make a killing. I expect there are no punters prepared to pay 11p and that is why they can't list. CL note extended to May so they have a 4-5 month window to get this share price up...and the HK listing complete. reasonable comments about the business in the RNS. Should rise in my view in next few months....well i hope it does...

All very quiet with CNEL, this HK listing malarkey is dragging its heels. Time to contact Richard Bennett.

Lack of chatter here is interesting. Currently price is 3p. If this successfully lists on HKEX the MINIMUM price they can list is about 11p (HKD500m market cap minimum). They've funded this listing by issuing £1m of CLNs at 4.7p to what is presumably a HK financier. Notes secured personally by Directors Transactional play. It lists, price is 11p minimum. If company issues anything re successful acceptance of the prospectus expect the gap to fill quickly

I presume all the other shareholders using the HGL platform got their corporate action notice today abd voted in favour of the HEX listing? HGL are using HSBC as third party broker for HEX trades which will be telephone only trades.CNEL are allowed until 17th January to get the raise and listing (3 months from the resolution date of 17th October).

Is that not a breach of market regs then? Surely they have to release price sensitive news? There again, the Chinese can be a law unto themselves.

mpang55 - good post. HGL I guess like most brokers will asist when the EGM passes the resolution which looks like October from the square brackets in the draft. There's plenty of brokers but not many with on line options. It will be interesting to see where opinion is on the best brokers. I don't know whether you scanned the 399 pages but the key takeaways for me were the rasing of capital for business expansion, r&d for generation 2 non feedstock input materials, and working capital. Whilst I think the credit terms are very soft for the clients the defects liability period can't be avoided and mops up cash when extra orders get processed. The order intake is 248 mb millions for the first 164 days of 2019 up 15% as a run rate on the 480 for the whole of 2018. All key numbers on the raise are redacted so we will have to wait to see how much funding is being sought

The draft IPO prospectus (or the first proof) can be found on the HKSE website (https://www1.hkexnews.hk/app/appindex.html). Scroll down to 24 June 2019 for CNEL's submission. Pages 100 to 102 describe how it is going to delist from AIM and float on HKSE. It offers 5 options for the existing shareholders to trade the shares in HK after the changeover. As all the options involve sending you or your UK/HK broker a physical share certificate in its paper form, you should ask your current stockbroker where he will provide the service of depositing/digitising the physical cert on your account so you can trade on the HKSE. If not, you should consider the option of setting up a trading account with a HK stockbroker now.

Who knows. Bottom line it had net profits of circa £5 mill, which on current share price is a P/E ratio of 2 roughly. To qualify for the hk listing it needs to reach a mkt cap of £50 mill equivalent circa. Which means roughly 11p per share. The way their RNS reads, if they don’t reach that target, they’ll just stay on AIM. the only way it will reach that is if we see continued buying in the stock. But, it does loom undervalued to me, so the reward in this case far outweighs any downside risk. Dave4545 sounds to me like a whiner. Nothing useful to say except to get personal. Probably lost loads of money and is looking for someone else to blame other than himself. Filtered now anyway. L.

Surely the process here will be the IPO prospectus in HK will state the raising of HK$500M+ via ShellCo. for the purchase of the entire shareholding of CNEL (representing a conditional bid) with the balance of cash left for expansion. Therefore the bid can be anything that's acceptble to CNEL shareholders

Whilst HKSE requires a minimum of HK$500m mkt cap, CNEL needs to sell new shares at its IPO in HK so it can have at least 25% public float in HK. To meet both requirements, the issue price must be at least 11p in HK. If the stock is still trading at below that price on AIM when the shares are offered at 11p in HK, who will subscribe the new shares in HK? Therefore ..........
