mpang55 - good post. HGL I guess like most brokers will asist when the EGM passes the resolution which looks like October from the square brackets in the draft. There's plenty of brokers but not many with on line options. It will be interesting to see where opinion is on the best brokers.
I don't know whether you scanned the 399 pages but the key takeaways for me were the rasing of capital for business expansion, r&d for generation 2 non feedstock input materials, and working capital. Whilst I think the credit terms are very soft for the clients the defects liability period can't be avoided and mops up cash when extra orders get processed.
The order intake is 248 mb millions for the first 164 days of 2019 up 15% as a run rate on the 480 for the whole of 2018.
All key numbers on the raise are redacted so we will have to wait to see how much funding is being sought

The draft IPO prospectus (or the first proof) can be found on the HKSE website ( Scroll down to 24 June 2019 for CNEL's submission.

Pages 100 to 102 describe how it is going to delist from AIM and float on HKSE. It offers 5 options for the existing shareholders to trade the shares in HK after the changeover.

As all the options involve sending you or your UK/HK broker a physical share certificate in its paper form, you should ask your current stockbroker where he will provide the service of depositing/digitising the physical cert on your account so you can trade on the HKSE. If not, you should consider the option of setting up a trading account with a HK stockbroker now.

It will list direct on the HKSE without going through a shell.

Who knows.

Bottom line it had net profits of circa £5 mill, which on current share price is a P/E ratio of 2 roughly.

To qualify for the hk listing it needs to reach a mkt cap of £50 mill equivalent circa. Which means roughly 11p per share.

The way their RNS reads, if they don’t reach that target, they’ll just stay on AIM.

the only way it will reach that is if we see continued buying in the stock.

But, it does loom undervalued to me, so the reward in this case far outweighs any downside risk.

Dave4545 sounds to me like a whiner. Nothing useful to say except to get personal. Probably lost loads of money and is looking for someone else to blame other than himself. Filtered now anyway.

Surely the process here will be the IPO prospectus in HK will state the raising of HK$500M+ via ShellCo. for the purchase of the entire shareholding of CNEL (representing a conditional bid) with the balance of cash left for expansion. Therefore the bid can be anything that's acceptble to CNEL shareholders

It does seem a no brainer, but something is holding me back from topping up.

Whilst HKSE requires a minimum of HK$500m mkt cap, CNEL needs to sell new shares at its IPO in HK so it can have at least 25% public float in HK. To meet both requirements, the issue price must be at least 11p in HK. If the stock is still trading at below that price on AIM when the shares are offered at 11p in HK, who will subscribe the new shares in HK? Therefore ..........

They have to meet the Hong Kong Exchange's requirement so 11p is the target.

As the company has submitted its application to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, it has to meet a minimum market capitalisation requirement of HK$500m or about £50m. That means it has to go up to about 11p per share.

Here’s a question (don’t do the DOYR) what proportion of the shares are available to the public/traded?

Starting further movement.

Remember, 11p is the target if they are to move to Hong Kong...

Morning Dave 😉

For one moment I thought you was being positive about a stock......then I read the rest of your posts lol. Still a bitter old man who hates to see anyone doing well trading.

One day the lightbulb will come on!

Keep an eye on RLD and ICON next week Dave. Let’s see if they will rocket as predicted on news.

My punt on TLA is still alive too. More coming there. Good luck

Surprisingly Bennett follows me on twitter so I can ask him questions but after a mild grilling I got tired of him saying "I'm inside" when it comes to excuses to why he does not buy stock. He moans the price does not reflect anywhere near true value then he refuses year after year not to buy any stock. It's not like this stock issues a Rns every month. There is plenty of gaps each year to buy stock and not be "inside" so to speak.
