excellent close, closing at days high of 0.68HK, some very heavy buying all day especially last 5 mins into the close, i saw 2 x 300k buys at least near close. What have the hong kong investors caught wind of (apart from how grossly undervalued this was)

may i ask what price you got for your sell? ithink it closed on 4th Feb at 0.56 and opened on 5th feb at 0.58 I think a lot of aim investors sold out friday and early today as there was a lot of selling volume, in fact i was tempted to cash out Thursday, but i am holding on for a few more weeks

I sold my holding in the HK entity today. The profit wasn't as much as I would have hoped given its IPO price on HKEX but they haven't engaged with investors and the lack of transparency means anything could happen. A profit is a profit and on this one, I'd rather have it in cash in my account.

That shareholder value was realised prior to the move given the 300% increase in SP, it is now normalising to a 200% uplift against a 3month look back.Alternatively it is a con and the illusion of greater shareholder value was sold and investors bought whilst the big boys sold before the HK listing...?

If I have done my sums right, out of the 11 firms listing in HK last week 8 are now in profit whilst only 3 are negative. Would like to think the HK investor appreciates new companies coming onto their bourse and invests confidently...CNEL next week hits at the right time....imho

I think a company like CNEL could be regarded as being in the Chinese state E10 green renewable essential's bracket, this isn't a frivolous gaming app company or fashion brand, maybe the reason this has had no promotion on AIM by the company is they have always earmarked getting this listed in HK once the business was established, it's not as if they have courted publicity or private investors,,
They haven't even concerned themselves with news flow or PR in the last 6 months to get the share price somewhere near the listing share price or valuation,
they must want to just get shot of AIM and you'd then expect they have organised the backing to do so

think investors are now realising the potential for some large price movements with this stock - on AIM since 2011 - as it lists on the HKE next month. Looking at the report on Stockopedia I see great numbers and a nice wee investment to hold this year...imho

If this 'Roadshow' that people keep throwing about was the last imperative for this listing it would have been announced, done and dusted by now, are you really implying the financial criteria for this are now resting on the toss of a coin as to how a performance at future 'Roadshow' is received like X Factor.. 6 months into H1 2020, what !

If you mean an investor event 'Roadshow' bit bloody late for that, and they haven't done one in 8 yrs
point me to this mythical roadshow rns rather than think it all up

Hi all, new to this site/chat.

Just wondering if there are any old timers (e.g long hold investors) still here? Just spent an hour or two reading old posts on here for CNEL and have finally caught up to the latest post.

Wanted to know the old timers thoughts on recent stuff happening. As it seemed most were upset with CNEL not releasing any news/PR/directors not buying etc or even annoyed at the share price.

Are your thoughts still the same? Or have they prospered with a more postive outlook? Or have you given up in total and sold the shares (although i know you might not admit to that one)

Thanks.

Seems that news of HKEX approval may be leaking.

However, getting approval isn't the whole story. The company must raise an amount at a price which gets them to the HKD500m minimum market cap post money. If they fail to do so then the relisting will be off
So that could be HKD100m at a HKD400m pre money valuation or HKD50m at a HKD450m pre money valuation or any other combination. But if they don't make the minimum market cap then they can't relist

I hope UK investors don't think HKEX approval is a one way street to 11p or whatever. It isn't. There is still risk associated with this transaction, even after HKEX approval

I suspect those buying now, assuming they are inside and know what's going on with the HKEX approval process, will appreciate the remaining risk and may sell on the inevitable spike that will occur when the HKEX approval is announced
