14/7/2017 18:12 | This one's a crock already. | bionicdog
14/7/2017 16:40 | Nathaniel Chalobah to Watford then. Another one that just wasn't good enough. Good, but not good enough. | michaelsadvfn
12/7/2017 20:08 | It's not as though people like Josh McEachran weren't given chances. He was given plenty of chances to prove his worth , he just wasn't good enough unfortunately. Mikael Forsell (not an academy product I know) was given a chance as a 17 year old and took it , scoring twice on his debut. He just didn't get better , in fact he got worse , just like little Oscar. | bionicdog
12/7/2017 19:39 | They need to be more than just 'really good' to get into the team. Believe it or not there's a huge gulf between youth team footie and the Chelsea first team. Personally I do think the 2 that will eventually make it are RLC & Tammy Abraham. When did a 19-year-old last score 26 goals for a Championship club in his first season? He might be the surprise package of the season at Swansea. | michaelsadvfn
11/7/2017 08:00 | All these youngsters Chelsea have that are supposed to be really good. Do any of them ever get to play in the first team? In the last 20 years, its only John Terry that has made it. | jack jebb
11/7/2017 00:51 | RLC to Palace for a season then. Good move, he should do well. Don't be surprised if he's their player of the year. | michaelsadvfn
10/7/2017 15:41 | He needs to sort his bloody hair out , that's for sure. | bionicdog
10/7/2017 11:04 | This could be another one you are well shot of.... | birotop
09/7/2017 19:08 | That's another one we're well shot of. | bionicdog
09/7/2017 18:40 | But he didn't,just get over it and move on what about Daniel 'chocolate legs' Sturridge he's available for a bargain £75m?...... | mrphiljones
09/7/2017 18:28 | He'd have said something similar if he'd gone to Palace. | bionicdog
09/7/2017 18:05 | Says it all really... "When they came calling I didn't have to think twice, so I'm really delighted to be part of history," said Lukaku. "Who would say no to the biggest club in the world? The best stadium in England, the best fans. I mean, it's the perfect opportunity. "I always said I wanted to play for a team that's challenging for every trophy that there is there. I think Manchester United at the minute wants to be the dominant team, the dominant force. | birotop
09/7/2017 18:00 | Fancy PL champions & still not good enough to get Lukaku.... | birotop
08/7/2017 09:12 | Begging never looks good IMHO.....:-)) | mrphiljones
07/7/2017 07:48 | A bullet dodged imo - not to mention a few pounds saved | joe say
06/7/2017 19:59 | Well , he wasn't great when we sold him and he hasn't really got better. He just fits in at Everton better. Whether Man U will be able to adapt their system to suit him remains to be seen. | bionicdog
06/7/2017 19:30 | ROTFLMAO.....Nice to see your all taking it so well on here.....:-)) | mrphiljones
06/7/2017 19:28 | I did not want him at The Bridge, Mourino got rid of him when he missed the penalty in the World Cup and Chelsea lost.Overrated. | montyhedge
06/7/2017 18:22 | Beat me to it. I'm glad he's not coming and that isn't sour grapes. I can just see him up top on his own getting penalised for backing in and getting caught offside , before giving up. Drogba got frustrated trying to play that role (especially if the ref wasn't seeing things his way) , but at least he had the odd trick to produce something out of nothing. Mind you , we're going to end up with nobody at this rate. | bionicdog
06/7/2017 16:41 | Lukaku wouldn't suit Chelsea's style of play imo so nothing lost there. Tammy Abraham, on the other hand, is (again imo) going to be the one that finally does make it into the side, possibly after a year at Swansea. He's lethal. Good in the air and has two great feet, quick and highly skilful. He also has that unique ability to always be in the right place at the right time, evidenced by the number of tap-ins he scored playing for Bristol City. He wasn't their Young Player of the Year AND Player of the Year for no good reason, and Chelsea didn't just tie him to a 5 year contract for no good reason either. Watch out for that lad ! | michaelsadvfn
05/6/2017 10:42 | Hopefully ready for the big one as Jose, Wenger and Raineri would say ie the Community Shield | joe say |
