08/3/2012 18:38 | if anything puts me of a share, it's a ramper like mechanical trader who posts article after article, but then fails to mention the bad bits - key directors buying chunks of the business. I have serious problems with this kind of purchase:- Does it represent the best interests of ALL shareholders? Who decides it's a good deal for Chime? Is it indeed a good deal for Chime? If it does go ahead, will the directors be as committed to Chime as they should be? If it doesn't go ahead will there be friction in the boardroom and will some of the board be disillusioned whilst still picking up a nice big fat pay packet? I ditched my holding after the news was announced | simonh88

07/3/2012 17:13 | I'm not very good on PCs Does anyone know if it is possible to read todays Chime RNS on Advfn without having to scroll across on every line, where I find it difficult to take the information in. I find it ironic that Chime and also Next Fifteen are 2 of the very few companies that present their information in such a way, since they are both predominantly Public Relations companies. Such a format doesn't impress me particularly Regards | muangsing
07/3/2012 14:17 | buying growth to deal with the PR decline, and one of the deals has a massive £19m earnout on it. and sports - for all the noise (and I am sure it is a good business)- is only 24% of the group. the PR bit is by far the largest (55% of OP) and the highest margin - and that is clearly going backwards. hence the price drop today I reckon. | markie7

07/3/2012 08:18 | In summary, on track. I'm in this for a number of reasons: I like the sector at this point. I see tailwinds for 2012/13 via specific events. The management is consistently strong. What I really like most, is the ratio between EV and profit. If I had enough money I'd buy the whole thing. I don't. But someone probably does... | thorpematt

06/3/2012 09:18 | Recent feature from Money Observer... Shares To Buy Hold And Sell In March... BUY CHIME COMMUNICATIONS Chime Communications, the international public relations group better known as Bell Pottinger, has an impressive track record. Profits have grown steadily through difficult times from £11 million in 2006 to £21 million in 2010. For 2011 the expectation is that the group will achieve a pre-tax return of £31.3 million and that returns will rise steadily over the next two years. Dividends a mere 0.58p a share in 2006 are forecast to reach 8.09p for 2013. That implies a yield of 4.5%, which, coupled with the forward earnings multiple of only 6.4, suggests the shares are undervalued. They were just 50p at the bottom of the last bear market, touched 300p last summer and now change hands at 171p. (now 230.5p) | mechanical trader

On a forward PE of 8.78 CHW must look compelling... XB | xandeebee
