Has just hit 970p which is a sort of historic event as this appears to have been the all time high last hit in 1996.

Since as mentioned before several times this is my biggest holding by far I look to the future with cautious optimism ("remember - shares can go up as well as down")

Well its fallen 60p in the last few days and for lots of traders thats enough of a trading window. I suspect that this is just going to remain a traders share and as of this morning i am out. There are better shares out there, that are just as safe and with a much better chance of share price growth imo.

There's little doubt that the repetitive share price pattern of the recent months has diminished the stock's appeal.Despite broker upgrades, excellent results, buy recommendations a plenty, i suspect a small clique of traders have created a share trading pattern that bears little correlation to micro or macro factors influencing Charter .
It's an impressive display of persistent, ongoing share price manipulation.

And down we go again. This is becoming very very frustrating! Seems to have real trouble holding the 900 level. I know its a quality company and in time expect it will justify some of its ratings but i dont think i can wait for it.

There's a nursery rhyme that aptly descibes Charter share price movement. It's called "Itsy Bitsy Spider".

Going well so far today, which probably means price will drop like a stone in last half hour of trading...

well, my 8 years chart is telling me it's going to either a) make or b) lose 300 points as soon as it gets sick of the area it's been in for the last year or so..

nothing technical just eyeball action - i haven't even got one single trendline drawn on it. it's made 306% since the low of 4 years ago.

81 day cycles is showing at a trough and the 44 day cycles (extremely erratic) is showing just past a trough.

Any chartists out there? Does the 12 month chart suggest we could be seeing circa 1025p quite soon?

Well its trying! Certainly a positive reaction to results over the past week. Needs to keep on going imo, nearer 1000p is fair value.
