I just read the deal terms again. Chariot's getting a carry on an appraisal well. BUT it has to pay-back the costs from future revenue. If the project is sanctioned, Chariot get's a carry on development costs but again has to pay back them costs from future revenue. Bottom line IF all goes well and the project is sanctioned, Chariot will receive $25million in exchange for 45% share of the field. I seem to remember Julie saying Anchois was worth a billion. Now who's paying for the second offshore well? Sounds like Chariot is deffo gonna need more money. Just like BB said. No wonder the share price has been hammered. Finchy

As we continue to optimise our portfolio, we look forward to enhancing our position as the leading independent gas-focused exploration, development and production company in the region."

"Morocco farm-in expected to complete in the coming months; appraisal well planned for 2024."

"Morocco country entry

As announced on 7 December 2023, Energean agreed to farm-in to Chariot Limited ("Chariot", AIM:CHAR) acreage offshore Morocco, which includes the 18 bcm (gross)[4] Anchois gas development and significant exploration prospectivity. Approval by the Moroccan Authorities is expected in the near-term, with closing of the transaction expected shortly thereafter.

Energean (Operator) and Chariot plan to drill an appraisal well on the Anchois field in 2024."

RNSYour BoD is pleased to announce the appointment of Cameron 'Jock' Opoku as technical Director. Jock is a Ghanaian national with a 3rd class honours degree in mining engineering from the University of Accra. He has worked in the mining industry across Africa for many years and was known to AP. He is Chariot's first diversity hire which is vital ahead of the company's entry into the FTSE 250. Jock will head up the hydrogen division as well as having a seat on the board. AP declared 'I want to welcome Jock onboard. He's a great guy and came cheap. Plus we saved 100 grand on the headhunters fee.'Ends
