Closed down just 3.3% at 7.06p on volume of 5.2 million. No cause for excitement as it was entirely predictable. Tomorrow morning £1.5 million of new shares start trading and guess what people paid for those shares? It was 7p.

The Company is pleased to announce that the Open Offer was significantly oversubscribed with valid acceptances received in respect of 29,320,337 Open Offer Shares, representing a take-up of over 138 per cent of the 21,224,102 available Open Offer Shares.

All Qualifying Shareholders who have validly applied for Open Offer Shares will receive their full Basic Entitlement. Applications for Open Offer Shares under the Excess Application Facility will be scaled back as outlined in the Circular on a pro-rata basis, with the same scaling methodology to be applied to each shareholder who applied for Excess Entitlements. Accordingly, the Open Offer has raised total gross proceeds of approximately US$2.0 million (GBP1.5 million).

As you clearly are unable to read here are the details about drilling updates:
"I am pleased to announce that the Stena Don has now arrived on site, with operations to commence immediately, for a potentially transformational drilling programme for Chariot. Our recently completed oversubscribed fundraise allows us to drill both the Anchois-2 gas appraisal well and re-enter the Anchois-1 gas discovery well and we anticipate updating the market separately after the completion of each operation. On behalf of the Chariot team, I would like to thank the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development in Morocco, ONHYM and all our wider stakeholders for their continued support and we look forward to keeping everyone updated on this exciting drilling campaign.

In my opinion if this well doesnt come up with the goods this thing falls to 3p in a heartbeat. Why no update after 8 days drilling, surely bop on the seabed now ?

As you well know the 14p was not my figure as I only report the figures of people who are far more qualified than me to do so. For example Simon Thompson of IC in September
“ It’s my strong opinion that positive news from Anchois, and progress from the group’s green energy projects, have potential to send the shares back towards last autumn’s 14.4p high, and perhaps well beyond. Buy.”
It is obvious to anyone with even half a brain that the anticipated rise pre spud was derailed by the recently completed placing at 7p which went live at the time of the spud.
FACT you are an infantile deramper who has never been right about anything. You seek to mislead at every turn and should be ashamed of yourself.
The filter button is clearly a very sensible suggestion.

Commencement of Drilling Operations

Fast-tracking Moroccan offshore gas development

Chariot (AIM: CHAR), the Africa focused transitional energy company, is pleased to announce that the Stena Don drilling rig has now arrived on location in the Lixus licence ("Lixus"), offshore Morocco, to carry out drilling operations on the Anchois gas development project. Chariot has a 75% interest and operatorship of Lixus in partnership with the Office National des Hydrocarbures et des Mines ("ONHYM") which holds a 25% interest.

-- Operations to drill the Anchois-2 gas appraisal & exploration well and re-enter the previously drilled Anchois-1 gas discovery well are expected to take up to approximately 40 days.

-- Anchois-2 gas appraisal & exploration well drilling objectives:
o Unlock the development of the discovered sands by confirming the gas resource volumes, reservoir quality and well productivity.

o Provide a future production well for the development of the field.

o Deepen the appraisal well into additional low-risk exploration targets with the aim of

establishing a larger resource base for longer term growth.

-- Anchois-1 gas discovery well re-entry objectives:
o Assess the integrity of the previously drilled well.

o Evaluate the productivity and gas characteristics of the discovered A Gas Sand.

o Provide a second future production well for the development of the field.

They've got to be so careful with the PR puffs now coz the drilling ain't gonna mean much. To be honest, I don't know why they bothered. They ain't gonna prove up more gas and without a well test they ain't gonna get finance. And when you're a minnow you can't afford a blunder like this. Very strange indeed. I hope they asked Malcy to jeep his gob shut until after the official press release.
