Probably take them in house but not definitely in the UK? Don't know how long cct contract is and don't know what proportion of sales PP is.

It may pay In USD for Chinese imports but the dollar floats against the Yuan and the Yuan is also falling.

I think there could be a bid here, just feel it in my water, and just bought about 2500 for 524p, having missed (hopefully) my 520p limit order. Gla.

Yup but consumer spending has increased and the Chinese currency has fallen. there are physically more childeren, and families buying toys. Margins have been increasing under the same pressures recently. The management have been positive very recently.

The big decline in GBP over the last weeks plays a role, and so does the increasingly negative sentiment around Brexit and the UK economy. Character is directly exposed to all these factors, so a worsening in their outlook is naturally going to affect CCT's share price.

Don't forget that CCT imports products from China, paying suppliers in USD. Prolonger GBP depreciation will force CCT to raise prices it charges its own customers, which will likely lower volumes. And that a worsening UK economy is a bad development for CCT speaks for itself.

they base the value of proxy at 25m, so are lending supporting liable at worst for 6.5m excl stock gained in exchange for 5m shares
assuming the company meets its goals for three years all will be repaid incl debt etc, but proxy will be significantly bigger.
or 5m part of proxy stays with character. looks a fair deal with good prospects of a second character developing well in the nordic countries.

They won’t have the rights for the states. Eone own Peppa Pig and will do regional deals in different territories. The hope is that cct can get in on the deals they have into Scandinavia which looks like they did when the chain went bust there over the last few months and picked up the distribution.

liking the look on this one also. Good overall financials and ahead of expectations make this a excellent winner.

Im guessing they trying to break into the US market with british characters or US specific characters?

Not sure how popular peppa pig is in the states :)

Things will move up when the purchased company is sorted out further capitalization needed but that may mean a bigger portion to character, it seems to have a value of 25m so probably a t/o prospect of 25m+. that would give the group 140m- 150m as a first full year from next year, 36% g profit, would be 54m certainly 8 pounds+ target in 18m. with 20m in cash generated 10 pounds looks on the cards. can this be repeated elsewhere in europe? a pe of 12 would be very low then.

The "it is better to travel than to arrive" brigade taking a little profit on a bumper results day.

fully expect a couple more days of gentle sales..

Let them ..

This is just a little retrace before £10 plus over the next 12-24 months in my view.

Perceptive IC as usual :-)

PE <12, FCF/EV <9, likely to beat FY forecasts of 6% earnings growth given H1 was up 24%. The last 12 month trading range was due to Toys r Us fallout.

Do they employ 12 year olds?
