05/4/2007 09:41 | Aughton can't agree more the removal of the key figures on the board it text book PG, would expect him to top up to a 10-15% holding at these levels given he bought in at 5p. The shift is more likely a buyer in the wings, can't see 25K of buys shifting the price by the amount it has done over the last couple of days. DYOR | maxlenton
05/4/2007 09:03 | do not under estimate Peter Gyllenhammer, look at what he bought into AOR at and sold them for | aughton 3
04/4/2007 11:58 | Looks like somebody bought 510,000 at 3.625p this morning. Sounds at lot but it's only £18,500 ! Pushed the share price up by 10% though ! Maybe Board changes provide a positive spin ! | masurenguy
30/3/2007 16:08 | It can go all the way to zero if you ask me. | arthur_lame_stocks

21/3/2007 11:15 | Back down on a 50k sell this morning. Aside from fundamentals and trading performance, I think that we will see a number of shareholders, who are underwater, selling into any price rallies for quite some time in the future. | masurenguy
20/3/2007 10:36 | no. i prefer this thread. | cg1953
20/3/2007 09:49 | Directorate Changes "Chapelthorpe's trading environment has proved exceptionally difficult over the last few years but, in spite of that, net debt has reduced substantially. These board changes should allow further progress to be made and the handover period will facilitate that." | zhangzl
20/3/2007 09:12 | Wonder what prompted a flurry of PI Buys this morning ? | masurenguy
19/3/2007 16:05 | Still looks fairly dismal - share price now at an ATL ! .................... Chapelthorpe says FY to be hit by lower umbrella frames output, slower Q4 trade LONDON (AFX) - Chapelthorpe PLC, which makes fibres, specialist coatings and umbrella frames, said its full-year trading will be adversely affected by lower than expected output at the umbrella frames division and slower than expected trading in the early part of the final quarter. The company said it is now marketing its umbrella frames subsidiary Hoyland Fox and has received a number of expressions of interest which it believes will result in a sale within a reasonably short time period. Chaplethorpe also said its margins were lower than expected from subdued demand and high raw material prices and that the company expects them to remain under pressure going forward. The company said it expects cost savings of over 1 mln stg in the forthcoming financial year from the ongoing fixed cost reduction programme. It added that it continues to work closely with its bank to restructure its facilities to better match the geographical location of the group's major assets and trading cash flows. Despite difficult trading the company said it does expect its underlying operations to be cash generative going forward. Chapelthorpe will announce its full-year results for the year ending March 31 on June 6. | masurenguy
18/3/2007 19:27 | timbo If you told anybody you wanted to start CPL from scratch you´d end up in Rampton. | arthur_lame_stocks
18/3/2007 13:09 | arthur. agreed.however on ldsg i did use the past tense !!! nevertheless, before the disposal of nemesis and at .13p pre the cash distribution it did look very iffy, and not a great deal of reassurance from mr cran i should add. dwsn. now back to where i originally bought. would prefer to see a director buy before i tempt my luck again. | cg1953
18/3/2007 12:40 | they will be dormant with no tax implications most likely | felix99
18/3/2007 00:17 | That previous list of Limited companies... please tell me that all these companies aren't still associated, active companies? In terms of Corporation Tax, and rules re: tax rates/profits, that's damned inefficient. | mr_x_uk
17/3/2007 23:30 | Another way to look at the current valuation for CPL, is to consider what the replacement costs might be, i.e. if you were going to start this business from scratch how much would it cost? I suspect it would be considerably more than the current market cap | timbo003
17/3/2007 11:51 | cg But LDSG isn´t going bust, quite the opposite it´s profitable and stuffed full of cash. What about DWSN though? A warm winter can´t have been good for them. | arthur_lame_stocks

15/3/2007 18:24 | Felix99 You are so right. The,work, the records, the filing fees imply zero brainpower in the boardroom and within the auditors. No wonder they are in such a mess.I wonder if they keep separate stationery for this lot? Pathetic | meadow50
15/3/2007 18:05 | Who in their right mind would call their company Slack Sales? | arthur_lame_stocks |
