Ahh understand

I believe that Russell Ductile & Petrel are decent businesses...I cannot believe the self inflicted gunshots in the castings business...they spent millions on new cells to support BW ..then had teething problems on the mandated machines ...then lost the contract but are left ridiculously indebted as a result of the investment

Sadly I think Trevor Brown now has this in a bear hug & will extract the upside leaving other shareholders counting their losses

Best of luck Nextlink...hopefully this is somehow saved...For the benefit of all shareholders not just Mr Brown

Best wishes

PS I held a starter position here a few years back..had various contacts with the company but couldn’t get a satisfactory explanation as to why the well paid MrNolan wouldn’t buy any shares ..I sold out as a result

I am well aware he holds all the cards.
It does not alter the fact that he would lose the £200K
if Chamberlin went into receivership.

Not that I anticipate that will occur.
He is an astute businessman and no doubt finance is
already arranged together with plans to sort the company out.

He’s not just ‘a shareholder like anyone else’ ..he’s got up to 29.4% of the equity for £200k & a board seat & the mandate to secure finance

‘This funding has been advanced by way of an unsecured convertible loan note instrument, resulting in Trevor Brown being issued with £200,000 Notes. Subject to the passing of the Resolutions (as set out below), these Notes will automatically convert into 3,333,333 New Ordinary Shares (at a Conversion Price of 6 pence per New Ordinary Share). The Conversion Price represents a discount of 14.3 per cent. to the closing middle market price of 7 pence per Existing Ordinary Share on 3 January 2021 (prior to suspension of the Existing Ordinary Shares from trading on AIM which took effect at 7.30 a.m. on 4 January 2021). The 3,333,333 New Ordinary Shares will represent approximately 29.5 per cent. of the Enlarged Share Capital’

He’s in charge

He is just a shareholder, like anyone else, albeit with a sizable stake.
Mike Ashley invested millions in Debenhams and lost the lot.
Trevor Brown would also lose all the £200,000 if Chamberlain go under.

From his perspective he can afford to lose what is to him a modest
investment.
However I am sure he believes he can make multiples on his investment
and I am watching with interest to see what happens.

Nextlink. If it still goes, does Brown lose that 200k or does he have any rights to say the Land it's on ?

Fascinated to see where this goes.
On every measure this Company looks doomed.
However Trevor Brown's move leaves a faint hope of some
kind of miracle.
