The owners are Orion (majority share) followed by Osisko and RCF. None of them would want to actually operate the mine, AFAIK. They could e.g. provide Chaarat with a portion of debt (secured against the mine) in exchange for a percentage of the mine and then Chaarat provides a portion of equity through a reverse takeover type arrangement, similar to when they bought Kapan, with new IIs taking up shares? The funds raised could be used to get the mine in production.
He was previously involved with GV Gold and Nordgold - could this be a first step in taking over one of the smaller mines from one or t'other? I mentioned before that Nordgold's Suzdal mine in Kazakhstan could be a good takeover target as it seems to fit the bill (from memory: 80k oz pa, 5 or less years of LOM but plenty of resource potential to extend) and has as added bonus it has advanced refractory ore processing capabilities which might be copied to Kyzyltash. We know they are working on finding the best processing solution for Kyzyltash ore. If the preferred solution is what they are doing at Suzdal then it becomes a no-brainer?
JC2706, the idea for the post regarding the risks of Lydian's "takeover" indeed came from discussions unfolding here before, but a closer look will provide more details on the risks for CHG small shareholders as well as additional materials from translated materials available online for the public. There is no recrimination, just facts. This is a notification of possible future recriminations and investigations if CHG shareholders are dragged into this.
I am surprised by arrogance of casual47, totally disrespectful of Chaarat minor shareholders (they can't decide anything says this user) and simultaneously a faithful advocate of "Mr Wyile" and "Mr A.". Casual47, I believe you're providing a disservice to minor shareholders of CHG and to the company in general and those who hired you, should get rid of you as soon as possible. Chaarat even at its current level and with allegations regarding Lydian's "takeover" deserves knowledgable and insightful discussions, not the type of idle copy pastes, arrogance and insider info dissemination we observe from you.
