19/3/2018 10:38 | Hopefully some good news with progress re the work being done for Microsoft through the Cummins connection. | smokey 1o3
19/3/2018 09:20 | In the meantime the MMs are just messing about. I wonder what fundamentally changed about this company in the last 20 mins that the share price went from -5% to +4%....Regarding results, the financials will presumably be what you'd expect from this type of company at this stage, so they will need to announce something more than technical progress within the results - otherwise the share price will probably tank. | pawdaw
18/3/2018 19:30 | Results due Tuesday | smokey 1o3
16/3/2018 16:35 | You don't buy this for the current profit and loss account, you buy it for the intellectual property and future growth prospects. | nivison
16/3/2018 16:13 | sleeven Suggest you sell also, that is if you have any!! Me I am waiting to see what happens next week. | smokey 1o3
16/3/2018 14:37 | I'll say it again... Market cap way to high for a loss making company. That's why investors are selling. | sleveen
16/3/2018 13:54 | A drop of nearly 10% - any reason? | folderboy
02/3/2018 12:55 | The price of any share almost always adjusts so sellers match buyers. The idea that people are selling because it's loss making is absurd - it always has been loss making and many people and institutions have bought knowing that. people buy and sell for many reasons - the main reason to buy is - ovioulsy - the expectation of future profits. cwr have jvs with at least 4 companies in four market segments where cwr fcs are an obvious fit. success in any area will see cwr fly, unless they are bought out by one of the jv companies. | pierre oreilly
02/3/2018 11:39 | Market cap way to high for a loss making company. That's why investors are selling. | sleveen
02/3/2018 08:39 | Market cap of £150m seems excessive given CWR are loss making. Even if CWR are at the forefront of FC technology. | sleveen
02/3/2018 08:36 | I like to think I have a reasonable understanding of the technology - it's why I am invested here. However when you read what you take to be excellent news and then there is fairly steady selling and a falling share price you do wonder at you own ( ( lack of? ) understanding. | folderboy
01/3/2018 14:05 | I see that the market has rather yawned with today's announcement and I have tried to see what it is all about. As always if I have the wrong end of the stick, appreciate it if you could say so. I note that they are unveiling the 5kw stack platform; the last reference I can find is in the finals on October 4 when they said they were developing the 5kw stacks; thus progress since then ,which depends on how one interprets the word unveil ,could be very good. To me good that they have confirmed that Steel Cell5 had achieved the 60 pc efficiencies, and as far as I can see this is the first time they have confirmed the 60 pc efficiencies. Have I missed something? I see that at the AGM they said that if they got to 60 pc, then they would take their foot of the gas as the law of diminishing returns would set. My reading is that this is all good news PS Reread the December 2 2015 RNS when they were very pleased that the then V3 technology achieved 50 pc net electrical efficiency, which to me shows v good progress in the last 27 months. PPS In the next weeks we will get the interims and will be interesting to see what they say about UK manufacturing facilities. PPPS I see their reference today to developing the 10kw Cummins stack. I would not have expected anything more and not expecting anything substantial on this in the Interims. I see in my AGM notes that they were talking about a green light in mid year but cannot recall what greenlight was being referred to. For me a 10kw stack with a 60 ps efficiency would be V good news. | cerrito
01/3/2018 11:00 | www.proactiveinvesto Ceres Power makes a splash at the Fuel Cell Expo 09:07 01 Mar 2018 "With more than a doubling in power density - the amount of power generated per unit volume - the 5kW configuration of the SteelCell has compelling economies of scale compared with Ceres Power's 1kW platform" SteelCell stack StgeelCell is future-proofed as it can already operate on hydrogen, bio-fuels and other sustainable fuels Shares in Ceres Power Holdings PLC (LON:CWR) provided some cheer in a chilly market on Thursday with news of more progress with its SteelCell technology. The company unveiled a new 5kW (kilowatt) stack platform and the latest advancements of its SteelCell V5 at the Fuel Cell Expo in Japan. Dr Subhasish Mukerjee, director of Fuel Cell Development, updated the international fuel cell community on the significant progress that the SteelCell technology has made in terms of power density, efficiency, degradation, start-up times and in vibration testing, Ceres told shareholders.INVESTM READ: Ceres Power driving higher on the back of big name development collaborations The 5kW stack now provides double the power per litre compared to the existing 1kW stack, at around 500 watts per litre. The modular nature of the 5kW stack allows for significant scale-up to power applications ranging from 5kw to hundreds of kilowatts of generation. "This is an exciting time for Ceres Power and the fuel cell market as a whole. As polluting combustion technologies are displaced, cleaner electrochemical technologies that offer flexibility and resilience, such as the SteelCell, are increasingly in high demand,” declared Mark Selby, the chief technology officer of Ceres said. “We have been very pleased with the technological advancements that we have made with the V5cell and are constantly striving to make further improvements to address the demand we are seeing from our commercial partners,” he added. Phil Caldwell, the chief executive officer of Ceres, paid tribute to the company’s “world-class technology team” and said Ceres is becoming a global leader in the fuel cell market. “We are establishing the SteelCell as a new class of fuel cell that is highly efficient, fuel flexible and cost effective, which offers a real alternative to replace conventional combustion engine and power generation technology in an increasingly electric future," Caldwell said. The shares were up 2.5% at 14.625p in the first hour of trading. | ben chod
