smokey.
The previous old Milan exhibition report that I cut and pasted on this site has since been edited and the fuel cell bit has been replaced. Someone at KDN must follow these posts closely. There is now no trace that I can now find of the words 'fuel cell'that I read last tweek.

I have just phoned KD Navien Sales at Chertsey and drawn a friendly 'blank'. The technical boys are out. Would I like them to call me back, they are doing a road show?. Yes,please, I said.. The Road Show comes to Merton next month (Western merchants I think they said) in Western Road.

That's very near my home so I will go along and see if i can get any hint of a UK launch. Until then that's all I can do until the CWR AGM in mid September, which I have attended twice. It has always been very investor friendly.

my post 5517 was a straight cut and paste from the KD Navien web site.

I agree that it seems to be an oxymoron, contradicting itself. In black and white it refers to a fuel cell m-CHP as I have already stated in 55119. I intended to phone them to ask for an explanation but ran out of time today and now can't do that until Thursday.

Latest (?Nov 2015) CWR presentation seems not to be on the website.

For those who want a view on the current state of the art, there is a lot of reading at:

Also note that GM's tech boys refer to Gen 2 stacks as being ferritic steel.

GM and Honda JV announced a few days after CWR's extended Honda deal.

That would be one big license fee.

An interesting blog

Then read around the Power Exporter 9000 to tie it all together.

Interesting to follow the video after clicking on the "experience the clarity fuel cell" button. Under the hood the Fuel stack looks vaguely familiar.

Autocar discussed this in Oct 2015.

Coming to the UK in 2017

KD Navien describe it as a" fuel cell driven m-CHP" on their own web site.
A real oxymoron then?

This not a fuel cell boiler but creates electricity using a Sterling Piston engine.
Its much bigger than what their Ceres Fuel Cell product will be when and if it is ever released.
I think I read somewhere that they may well use British Gas in ther CHP Ceres Product.

That would be great but it is all taking a very long time isn't it?

Exhibition - 19 March, 2014
Participation in ‘MCE 2014’, HVAC exhibition in Milan
KD Navien has participated in ‘MCE 2014(Mostra Convegno Expocomfort)’, the largest cooling/heating system exhibition Milan, Italy. KD Navien has differentiated its booth under title ‘Optimal Living Energy Solution through Condensing’ by introducing future energy systems such as Navien Hybrigen SE (Sterling engine m-CHP), the first self-generation boiler and fuel cell m-CHP.

found on the KD Navien UK site. Can this fuel cell driven boiler be using other than the Ceres steel cell? Would they risk launching from the new UK office in Rotherham with a fuel cell likely to be imminently superceded. I shall seek clarification from Ceres asap.

Has anyone done so already? Does this explain the sharp (+75%) upward share price movement of the last four weeks- not least surging 10% of this yesterday (Wednesday).

I was unaware that Navien had set up here in the UK some 18 months ago and is already selling and servicing 3 boiler models with the stated aim of using this as a base to springboard into Europe

hxxp://www.navienuk.com/news/foundation-of-uk-corporation/

All we need is for a forth boiler to be added to their product choice incorporating the Ceres CHP fuel cell.

From this it may not be too far away. Any guesses?

I wonder if the markets are beginning to wake up to the fact that mass production across a number of countries is becoming a real possibility with CWR taking its % cut from each and every system installed.

Who remembers when this was £'s a share.

sometimes there are real success

It could be a distraction; there's a lot to be said for being focused. It's time to start selling some kit, nothing else is going to move the share price upwards.

This morning’s news not a game changer but for me good if only because it was unexpected. Surprised at the low price I paid for a very small purchase this morning.

Mystified with the low share price given the very good news flow over recent weeks and the better sentiment in the markets with the Aim index up hovering around 700.
Perhaps people fretting about the end of year equity raise; if so fair enough but remember CWR is not like many companies in its position who have a very atomised shareholding structure and rather it has I feel good major shareholder/institutional support to get ts funding away.
