24/4/2009 12:52 | Desperate measures by Maymask to put pressure on shareholders to accept the offer. They needed 75% to delist but still need to 90%. They only had 68% acceptance so where did they get the other 7%? They're not allowed to buy them on the open market. | induna123

24/4/2009 11:51 | "The Offer was conditional on Maymask receiving valid acceptances in respect of not less than 90 per cent. (or such lower percentage as Maymask may decide) of Centrom Shares to which the Offer relates, subject to Maymask acquiring or agreeing to acquire (pursuant to the Offer or otherwise) more than 50 per cent. of the Centrom Shares. Maymask announces that it has elected to waive the requirement to receive acceptances of not less than 90 per cent. and that, having acquired or agreed to acquire approximately 75.32 per cent. of the Centrom Shares, the Offer is declared unconditional as to acceptances." That is truly disgusting and typical of TLFBRT and associates | jumpin

21/4/2009 10:23 | This is beyond ridiculous. Since the last deadline a further 0.1% accepted the offer. That equates to 214,530 shares or £150 worth. And they they still want to extend the deadline?! Maymask need to come back with a better offer or stop dreaming and wasting everybody's time. | induna123
21/4/2009 10:11 | don't give in ! | englishbeakfast
20/4/2009 21:50 | IMHO here is a few ponderables for all us holdouts and anyone else willing to read on as to why this scumbag offer is seriously flawed. Year ended 31 December 2007 1.Staff costs-Wages & Salaries, Social Security costs and other pension costs -£1,567,807.00 2.Directors' Remuneration to include Pension contributions - £259,000 3.The current offer includes the following- "Following the Offer becoming or being declared unconditional in all respects and after the cancellation of admission to trading of the Centrom Shares on AIM, it is the intention of Maymask to procure that a resolution of the Centrom Shareholders is proposed to re-register Centrom as a private limited company under the relevant provisions of the 2006 Act".....in other words still as a going concern!!! 4.Give it a few more weeks and CET will be late in posting the year end 31 December 2008 figures of which I can't wait to see points 1 & 2 above. Last but not least.............al Regards, 29palms | 29palms
20/4/2009 21:26 | "Centrom Shareholders who have not yet accepted the Offer and who hold Centrom Shares in certificated form are urged to complete" ..... handing over their shares to daylight robbers. | jumpin
20/4/2009 20:59 | What a ridiculoous RNS! They don't seem to be getting the message: the offer is FAR TOO LOW! There, perhaps they'll hear now. Maymask should come clean about their strategic plans, and make an offer that doesn't treat shareholders as idiots. | 2magpies
20/4/2009 20:16 | Is there a limit to how many extensions they can do before they have to accept the offer has been refused? | bw123
20/4/2009 18:33 | LOL, LOL, LOL....0.1% more shareholders have accepted since last update on 6th April. Surely they must know that their scumbag offer of a tenth of where the stock was is not enough to budge anymore to sign the forms. Do they seriously think that they will get to the required 90% in another 7 days when they could only get 0.1% more signatures in the last 2 weeks. Stand by for another extension....and another. Like I've said - I'd rather burn the certificate and take the loss than see this band of modern day scumbag racketeers get the company for £50k Regards, 29palms | 29palms |
