Below from the RNS...so the scrip share price is fixed when it goes ex divi...If I remember correctly the shares were around 95p on ex divi day...



The Company confirms the allotment and issue of 101,684,164 ordinary shares of 6(14/81) pence each ('Shares'), at a price of 94.44 pence per Share, to shareholders who are participants in the Company's Scrip Dividend Programme (the 'Programme') in respect of the final dividend for the year ending 31 December 2018 payable on 27 June 2019. This represents approximately 1.78 per cent of the current issued share capital of the Company, excluding shares held in treasury. The Shares rank equally with existing issued ordinary shares.

Tim. Dyor. I am still buying I am not losing much pounds not hundreds I have plenty of cash Two years ago I decided to never go to the Eu again and spent about 30k a year going with Thomas cook never again Not bought a new vw. For now 3 years saved another load of Cash to buy shares I am down a bit on my barcs but they will come good But at my age to does not real mattter as the grand children will take over my account as I started 3 years ago opened an account in their two names and buy shares in their accounts But I will let them decide if I am a live if they want to take the money out They will be very happy

Portside you are mistaken. The divi reinvestment buys at market rate. They usually buy a few days after divi has been paid so my guess is they will buy today or Monday at circa 86p

Oh no I forgot, you are the only person who is making money on Centrica - the rest of us don't know what we are doing and are 'losers'. I'd love your calculator - it always gives you great answers despite the reality
