Morning DikuSorry I missed you but was in bed early last night. So let's just have a recap shall we. You've been asked not to make yourself look like a prat and you continue to do so. You've also been asked to keep this thread clear of your chippy remarks thus leaving it open to the genuine posters. Now let's take a look at your most recent post regarding a poster that has been not only honest but has opened their heart out.His or her thoughts are probably what we are all feeling. Now take a look at your ridiculous and incentives post.......see where I'm coming from!!!???You most recently took a rather unsympathetic stance on a story regarding an investor that was suffering from depression and had suicidal thoughts. The gentleman who posted that story has now not returned because of your thoughts and general rubbish that you spout out.Another thing that I've also spotted is that your remarks in general are rather anti capitalism. This begs the question..... why are you on ADVFN in the first place ?Anyway I've rather contradicted myself because by entertaining your ridiculous posts I've now taken up valuable space on this thread. Good luck to all investors on here and Diku ,can you please try and be less unsympathetic to people's suffering.

The only shops remaining will be offering services mainly to woman and combining coffee shop and food etc. Touch and feel shops which give an experience. All others will die as they cannot compete. Everyone orders online now. High street are getting demolished. Charity shops, estate agents, banks and a few discount shops like b and m bargains will remain

Until there is a change of policy in this country regarding brick and mortar shops anyone would have to be a mug to be shackled to the expense. I have my own online business. Would not dream of having bricks and mortar. All the shops on the high street are undercut by Amazon Ebay etc with fast free delivery. All small shops will go and most big ones. I am not one for taxing but the big tech companies are sucking all of the money up.

Hi portside1, Nice to keep suggesting the high street sale of electrical goods model, but check out other retailers already doing that and they are performing really bad. Take a look at Dixon Car phone Warehouse (DC.), they have dropped from about £2.50 about 1.5 years ago to £1.09 today and its continual profit warnings/downturn news etc. There are clear reasons Centrica or British Gas as it was trading on the high street pulled out years ago, the market is not worth the effort, online buying is killing the high street...... I do agree however in a suggestion i think you made some time ago about seeing people in Centrica/British Gas T-shirts or something advertising/Selling in Super markets/on the street etc. Some short of visual presence would be nice to see. ..... The silence from this CEO/BOD/Company is deafening ...... To a point, its like they are almost ignorant of the downturn in profits/share price....... I think the CONN Man is saying "let them eat cake" ........you know who i mean, that type of arrogance.
