Musk is a bit of a loose canon, I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets sued by the shorters over his tweet.

Just because some random poster on LSE says 83p doesn’t give it any credibility. You are responsible for what you post - if you believe what they’ve written is true then by all means go short, but it’s not a great way to deal.

He's opening a short with a target of 83p.Takeover well before then ?.

Guys,i also think that 86p is ridiculous.I just mentioned it to find out how many on here were into tech analysis.Hasn't another poster on here already said that he wants to short CNA down to 86p?.On seeing that I thought i'd enquire.
There was a guy in February on the LSE site that posted the same figures.Just because technical analysis works out to 124p and 86p as support levels, IF they ever get there,that doesn't mean that it WILL ever again go down to those levels.
It says the extent to what COULD happen.It only makes us aware of the possibilities.Like we are aware of sod's/Murphy's Law,[apologies for the slight change], what can go wrong,[might] go wrong.Just a case of being aware of all the possibles.Hope this clears things up.

Well said whatsup , you haven’t even posted that much pipedreamer , 6 in total so I thought you were just having a wind up to be honest & I’m not much in the mood either,I’m sitting on a loss here so 86p to me was & is just ridiculous especially when you say you’re a shareholder.

pipedreamer2. You are I’m sure others would agree more then welcomed here to inform and ask. The way your question was asked however led me to believe you wanted to in an infantile manner talk the share down.
There are plenty of professional and long term holders here who do not like that.
I’m not holding CNA and it had my back up.
Certainly stay and feel free to comment , no one is chasing you away

Let it go pipedreamer you’re only digging your self deeper. There is no reason for you to ask if a share that is trading above 146 and rising ,if it will hold at 124 or 86p. In your mind it may sound like a sensible question but it isn’t .So if you are planning walking in the dessert can I suggest you drink plenty of water.

It just strikes me as odd that as a shareholder you would highlight the recent low of 124p as support,which is as good as an all time low for the share price & 86p was hit only once on the way up from the opening offer back in 1999 so I’m struggling to see the relevance to be honest,technical or not.

Mercer,there IS support on the chart at 86p,and there was at 124p.Just because I have indicated this doesn't mean that I think it will actually go there.I'm just pointing out where the major supports are.As for pipedreaming,i put on the LSE site when CNA was 174,that there was support there,but if it didn't hold at 174,123 was the next major support.
Yes I was accused of pipedreaming then as well!!!!!!.For the record I hold Centrica,and hope that the worst possible scenario,is a double bottom,somewhere in the region of 115p to 124p.Any weakness below that wouldn't be good.
There is the scenario of this latest down move is the last leg technically .
So fingers and legs crossed .Look,we are all hoping for a breakout rise soon,so lets moderate comments if you are not savvy to all the technical stuff.Doesn't mean that Tech analysis isn't the b all and end all of truth as to what happens with shares.
But as walking through the desert,i'd prefer personally to use a map,however rudimentary.
Same as shares,use a chart,even for a sort of guidance.

No, my dogs birthday is on the 26th, that’s definitely the next support, for sure, Rex has never let me down, apart from the burglary & when he bit the vicar,defo 26p
