The market appears to be heating up towards close...

I think some kind of merger acquisition or disposal is nailed on here, got to be good right?

The new boss is facing challenges, he's cutting costs and changing the nature of centrica, but the underlying question is "what is centrica?"

Is it a utility or an oil company?

My guess is that one will have to go.

I think we all do that sometimes iceman, yes nothing more annoying to see it keep rising when you have sold it. What I do is take the company off my watch list and not try to look at how it got on or how much more money you would have made if you had kept it. :)

More than lightly iceman, still think this is a two + share, just seems to be taking a long time to get there. When I have been buying and selling none stamp duty shares I've known times when I have only held the company 10 minutes before I've sold. As long as you make a good profit. It's been a very quite year for me, the lowest trading for about 7 years

I'm not in that heavy iceman, some of the chaps here are in a lot heavier than me. I still have to wait for the 50k shares to go up to what I paid for them (187p) but overall if you take the last five years I'm up many thousands

Neilyb, like Ken said if you have much more than 15 and a good holding in that company you must be a millionaire. I sold about half of my shares just over 2 months ago, until then I had 183,000 pounds worth here.
